This book is a very light, easy read. The best way I could describe it is a poor woman's Outlander. In the book, the main character travels back in time during epileptic fits to Scotland in the Dark Ages. It's a romance, a little bit of a mystery, with some time travel which is always fun. Outlander is much better in the character development, plot, detail, length....well, almost everything. But this is good as a nice, light little book that is easy to get through, and it is much faster to get through than Outlander. So if you're a fan of that book/show, you might actually really like this as a not-serious read. I doubt it's going to win any major prizes, but the author is working on a sequel and I'll probably be interested enough to read it.
