The taste was somewhat different than other soy sauces out there, though I would be hard pressed to recall this as a Thai Flavoured one if you gave it to me in a blind tasting. There were hints of garlic in this. It was a chemical soy sauce, which had meant that it did not undergo the same process as a true soy sauce and do not have the same complexity as a one. Still, it was inexpensive and worked fine for cooking and dipping purposes.
