Good for small messes

It's a good quality product. I love the fact I can use my own products in it. I don't recommend it for big messes, very dirty floors or scrubbing. For small spills and spot cleaning it works well.

I reccomend this for people who need a quick fix... I have kids and pets and would much rather thoroughly mop with the newer vileda. For me this just left floors a littletoo streaky, and even though I vacuum well it still leaves the odd doghairs behind lol

srayer not working

Trigger is fine and no leaks. Seems to be problem with sprayer. Took apart and cleaned. Still not working. Not happy. Have to pump trigger several times to get one tiny spray. Any advice? REALLY don't want to have to get another cleaning mop. Only have small place - seniors apt, so not from overuse.

A severe design flaw in the BOTTLE does not allow the cleaner to come out the spout, it instead sucks cleaner out through the breather hole in the bottle (the little black rubber piece). The reason it sprays sometimes is the base, which should remain dry, fills up and that fluid gets sucked into the PUMP'S breather hole.
Simply break the red stopper out, and when removing/adding the bottle, hold it bottle lid to the sky.
Works great now.

Like the covienence of this product however I've bought 2 and they always seem to leak

Hello I'm back again.
so I did go and buy my third vileda promist mop. This time lasted the longest because I was extra careful . So that was since I wrote last on March 15.
This time it was not spraying the soap and the bit that usually snaps off (I issued pics in my first review) this time it is just cracked, so I have crazy glued it,,,but we all know that's not gonna hold,
Well three strikes you are out I guess.
It's really sad I think that today companies are more focused on quantity and not quality. It's the old products that my parents bought that still work the best.
Ah well. It was too good to be true.

A great mop! I like that I can mix my own floor solution and that the cleaning pad is washable. I even use my own microfibre cloths sometimes. I like the spray mechanism, too, because I don't need to worry about a motor dying.

Got my 2nd mop this year other one clogged up now this ones clogged. Great mop but do not put anything in but water or it will be rendered useless.they need to refine it so we can add a little detergentjust use a seperate spray gun. Defeats the object but I easily cloggs up.would be brill apart from that.hope they improve it.

I love this mop! I used to use a mop where you had to purchase refill cleaning fluid and mop pads plus you needed batteries to operate it...what a waste of money! This mop allows you to use any cleaner and mop pad is washable! The best part is this requires NO batteries! This mop functions very well. I mop every other day and so far it has lasted me 3yrs. The only thing I wish would be that it come with two mop pads instead of one. Asides from that I am very happy with this product!
