Use a universal phone mount with this and you have the perfect tripod for taking pictures of products for your blog, or mounting your camera for videos. While this is less flexible than some stands in the 'gorilla pod' style, the quality is a big draw. I've tried many cheaper, non-name brand tripods with my cell phone and they all eventually break (usually in the flexible parts), but I can tell this one is going to last a lot longer.

The only negatives are: One, that the foot pads are extremely slippy on slippy surfaces, for example putting it on top of my washing machine it would slip around a lot unless the flats of the pads were exactly on the ground.

The second negative is that while the connector is fully flexible allowing you to bend the camera or phone far forward, the weight of the tripod cannot support it and it will fall if leaning too far.

This is a sacrifice to be made for having a lightweight, small tripod that is easily portable, but I would recommend using this in conjunction with a large scale professional tripod alongside it; the best of both worlds.

Pros

- Compact and portable.
- Allows for multiple angles.
- Can support a camera or standard size universal mount, allowing cell phone use with it.
- Well-made and will last.

Cons

- Feet could use something to stop them slipping (example felt or less slippy material)
- Light weight means tipping is an issue.

Note: The legs also extend by pulling downwards.

At this price, you're not going to get a better cell-phone mini-tripod, trust me, I've looked!
