Just okay

This is the second time I've bought Wowbutter. I much prefer natural peanut butter and will not buy this again. It definitely has a different flavor than peanut butter. Perhaps if you eat it in a sandwich with jam, you wouldn't notice the different flavor, but I eat it plain on toast or crackers and I notice it. If you need to buy an alternative to peanut butter, this may do the trick, but if you don't, natural peanut butter is way better!

As close as you can get to the real thing

I have eaten peanut butter all my life until last year when I suddenly took an allergic reaction. Found this stuff in the grocery store so I thought I'd give it a try. Texture is very similar, maybe a little dryer than real peanut butter but the flavour was bang on! If you like peanut butter, you will like it. I think you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.

Strange after taste

I tried this for school since schools are peanut free. I liked the idea of the snickers so the teachers know it is peanut-free. The Wowbutter itself tasted like peanut butter but it had a really bad aftertaste. The after taste ruins it for me.

my daughter loves this

as most people know. schools and daycares are going completely nut free. this is a great substitute. however only 1/4 of my kids like it. the positive is the one that foes is the one that can not take any peanuts at all. she enjoys her WOW butter and jelly sandwiches.

This is not for true peanut butter fans

We bought a jar of wow butter to try at our nut free school as an alternative to a peanut butter sandwich. It did not meet our approval at all. The consistency is not right and you get an after taste you cannot wash out of your mouth. We will be sticking to jam sandwiches for school from now on.

We used wowbutter for school due to nut allergies of other students and it's tuned my son off of peanut butter all together :( . I recommend it to other parents that have children that have allergies. That way they have no idea what the real deal tease like. I just warn that it has a chalk consistency.

With a nut-allergic child in the house, this is our go-to for peanut butter cravings. It has the same texture as peanut butter, and the taste is ...well, it is not the same, but it is as close as we've been able to find. Recommended!!

It tasted okay. There was a weird after taste and the texture wasn't much like peanut butter. I guess if you do have a peanut allergy and ABSOLUTELY need to eat peanut butter this isn't a bad product. It is school friendly which i like but im not a huge fan of the taste.

I bought this at our local Piggly Wiggly store and it wasn't cheap. We all love peanut butter in my family, unfortunately, this has a weird greasy taste to it. My husband nor grandson would finish their sandwich. I had to throw it out, because none of us could stand the taste.

My kids like it. Mind u they aren't allowed real peanut butter in class. But its good.
