Kinect for Xbox 360 brings games and entertainment to life in extraordinary new ways with no controller required. Simply step in front of the sensor and Kinect recognizes you and responds to your gestures. Connecting in a whole new way is as easy as a wave of your hand. Kinect removes the last barrier between you and the experiences you love. Best of all, Kinect works with every Xbox 360 console.

For adults the Kinect is great. I love the games which are fun for everyone. Unfortunately the Kinect doesn't see smaller children very well. Overall fun system!

My brother has a Kinect and I normally play the dancing games. Dance Central 1 and 2, Just Dance etc...
It's a fantastic way to work out and get your friends involved! It's a lot of fun and finally games you don't have to sit down and play.

I can only say one thing about this machine...AMAZING!
Whether you are using this to connect and spend time with the family, to manage weight or exercise, or simply to just enjoy life a bit by staying youthful through games, the Xbox Kinect is your best friend!
I don't really need to use the Xbox for weight management, but being a dancer, I love just keeping up my cardio and body structure by exercising and working up a sweat. My brother and I use the Xbox to play games randomly but we always end up feeling sore because of our amazing workout...laughs.
One thing I can mention to all future Xbox Kinect-ers...ALWAYS STRETCH before your WORKOUT!

I LOVE MY KINECT!
I have never been so active before, while having an absolute blast! I love the dancing games, and love how upbeat the music genres are. I rock out to Lady Gaga, and don't even notice how badly I'm sweating! There are tons of fun games to choose from. I also love to laugh at the "videos" it captures throughout the games. You don't realize how crazy and hilarious you look, and sometimes it's a little embarrassing! LOL
This game was definitely worth the money spent!

Kinect is so much fun!! My parents bought it for Christmas this year and we actually all got involved and had a really good time. Just be warned, it takes pictures of you!! I was playing in my housecoat and had a bad scare when I saw snapshots of myself on the television :( haha. Really though, you get a great workout while having fun (it sounds cliche but it's true). Also, make sure you have a large space because it requires a lot of movement and jumping around.

We bought this as a christmas gift for our oldest daughter when the kinect first came out so about two years ago now and the whole family has loved it!! We already had the xbox system so we just had to get the kinect sensor on it's own which was nice but still cost around $150.00 at the time. The sensor came with one game "Kinect Adventures!" which is a lot of fun to play either alone but even better with a second player. My husband and I also bought her the "Kinectimals", which is cute in itself however it only a one person game so with three kids there is always a bit of whinning on whos turn it is.
We do also own the WII but find that I perfer the Kinect. The reason for this is because as much as the Wii advetised that it was to keep you off the couch, I tell you kids can find anyway to play the games on the couch, which with the Kinect you can't! You are the controller so off that couch you have to come to be able to enjoy the games! Not saying that this takes place of daily activity but it does sure help.
The big down fall I find with this system, as well as any system out there is the price of the games, which usally range from 39.00(low) to 59.99 (high), and usally the good games are on the higher end. Overall I love this product and would recommend it to anyone, it is great fun for anyone who either wants it to help with weight loss, pass some time or be able to enjoy some family time on a rainy cold day/night. LOTS OF FUN
