Curling up with a good book is a favourite year-round pursuit: in front of a blazing fire in January, in the park under a warm May sun, in a hammock lake-side in July or with coffee on the back porch overlooking brilliant fall foliage.

ChickAdvisor members love light reads like the wildly popular Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella or the more introspective romances of Emily Giffin.  He's Not That Into You gives us food for thought, and Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series is a guilty little pleasure.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin.
This series is one I have enjoyed hugely. There is so many characters and each has a rich story line I got lost for hours. There are many twists and turns and major cliffhangers, hats off to George RR Martin each book was more exciting than the last and keeps me wanting more!

Dark Tower 1- The Gunslinger by Stephen King
