reviews So this place has been one of my ol' reliable places to go for lunch when I am in the office. A Taste of Japan is located at 7501 Woodbine Ave in Markham (they also have a location in Woodbridge). I like this place a lot because of value and service. When you only have an hour for lunch, they can seat you at a teppanyaki table, take your order, cook it in front of you and bring you your bill in under an hour. The food is yummy and the service is friendly. It is advisable to eat at the teppanyaki tables as opposed to the restaurant part as the service is much better in this area. I have been to neighbouring Japanese restaurants and still always end up back at a Taste of Japan!
