Horrible service rude staff... I bought a gift card for a pedicure for my sister in-law at the regent location and she went the other day for a pedicure there. After getting her pedicure and goes up to pay she hands the woman her gift card. they tell her that her gift card is not accepted here only McPhillips location. My sister in-law ended up having to pay for it which was suppose to be a gift. That is not right i'm extremely pissed off and will never go back there.
HORRIBLE SERVICE.....RUDE RUDE staff,!!!!!! They did not speak any english around me while I got my pedicure, so who knows what they were talking about!!!! It made me very very uncomfortable and not relaxed at all. The gal who did my pedicure was terrible at her job, she looked miserable, and did an awful job. It was busy, so I was in and out quickly, she didn't even thank me for my tip!! The receptionist at the front, should greet clients with a friendly smile and a "hello, welcome". That's what I would expect and want my front-line person in my business to do. Simple right!!! When I walked in she said, "what do you want done.....ooh it's a 10 minute wait". After my terrible pedicure experience, she didn't even ask how the service was....just -- "how are you going to pay for this"!!!!! I'd seriously spend the extra 5.00 and get service I deserve, relax and enjoy my day!!! I WOULD NEVER go back......walls are dirty, needs a paint job, it's very very very very unprofessional and staff are miserable, horrible at their jobs and RUDE!!!!
I am very disappointed with the service/treatment I received at Aloha Nails on June 4th. I got a shellac nail treatment but was seriously injured by the manicure drill. It broke deeply through the skin on my finger and bled. It was very painful and uncomfortable. The woman doing my nails did not seem to care at all and I was concerned about it getting infected due to the lack of care and cleanliness taken. Multiple coworkers came by to look at it, however I wasn't offered or granted any type of discount. Not even given an apology.. The sad part is that I really liked the other nails, but my injury ruined the experience and the look of the finger that I hurt. I don't think it's fair that I paid full price when I was hurt due to the carelessness of the employees. Because I am a teenage girl, they took advantage of me and acted condescending. I'll make sure to spread the word about the carelessness of this company, and don't worry, all my friends were shocked that a 'reputable company' could treat a customer the way that I was.
I went on November 20th for my first time, with an full aloha manicure. I paid the extra $10 for shellac. The manicure was good, but the staff speaking another language and standing around watching and commenting and laughing (?at my hands - who knows) was very uncomfortable. They were fully aware that this was my first time there but did not tell me to remove my Pandora and medic alert bracelets before we started. So I got half a wax treatment on one arm and the full treatment on the other. It was so very crowded. Someone came in and asked specifically for the woman who was doing my nails. Once that person was there, my treatment was second place and I was left with two different other staff to finish the wax, etc. Whaaat? The shellac job was great and lasted really well (very smooth) until the week before Xmas. I went in to get it redone. Different person. Terrible job. Really rushed. Same group of people staring and chatting and laughing. The shellac has already broken off in two spits. I have sharp, uneven ridges all around the base and sides of the nails. I did far less work with them over Xmas than I did over the previous time period and I already need them redone. I will not be returning to this place. It is also a bit on the dirty side. the lights for the shellac are so dirty inside I do not want my fingers to touch them. Lots of unsanitary looking aspects. I just don't now how clean they really are. The nail kits are in sterile packages and no obviously dirty towel has ever been asked of me. Oh - the receptionist - yells over the entire place what service it is that you want (SHELLAC MANICURE!) and then tells you go "go down there" and points. If I was getting something more personal, I would really hate that. I did notice that when the one man I have seen there came in there was no announcing of his needs. Someone was quietly summoned and led him to a back room for whatever he had done.
The girl at the front desk has no personable skills there shellac and gel curing changes every time which doesn't make sense. Its a corrupt business and its filthy.
Horrible place. Crowded. Dirty. Lousy customer service AND SHOWING AN XXX RATED TV SHOW,!! Should be shut down.

I did not enjoy the manicure/pedicure treatment I recieved for several reasons. First I came in at 5:50PM for both mani shellac and pedi and had multiple comments from the staff that I was arriving too late as they closed at 7PM. There was at least 8 employees chatting in the back and having a great time laughing and conversing with each other. I am 7.5 months pregnant and had to lit my leg up to accomidate the treatment and cross my arms over my belly so that they could work on my fingers at the same time. It was very uncomfortable and when I told them they said "almost done". Once I was ready to go to get the Shellac nail polish put on they had me at the front door where it was very drafty and -30 outside. I ended up with the worst head cold I have ever had and being pregnant could not treat it what so ever. My nails looked nice from the treatments but I was so annoyed by everything going on. By 6:45 there was about 10 different staff members continuing to talk and joke around. It was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this location.
I came here as a walk-in for a last minute bikini wax. When I came in, a woman asked me from across the room what kind of service I wanted. I didn't want to announce to everyone getting manicures and pedicures that I wanted a bikini wax so I walked a bit closer to her (there was a manicure table blocking me from going closer) and motioned for her to do the same. She did not. She just looked irritated with me and asked again, "What you want?" So I had to loudly announce my intentions to the room. She motioned for me to come to the back. I told her I wanted to confirm the price first. She told me it was starting at $15. Without getting into too much information, I go for waxing every month so it's a pretty easy job. I figured that meant mine would be around the $15 mark.
A woman brought me to the back for my wax and when we got into the room, she asked me to strip and lie on the dirty towel that was there from the last waxing. It had obviously had another bum on it since it was all rumpled and had some wax on it, so I asked her to replace the towel for me. She told me she didn't need to since that one was perfectly clean. I told her I'd feel more comfortable with a new towel. Who wants to put their bare bum where someone else's has been??
She replaced the towel and carried on with the wax. She was a nice woman once we got to talking and she was gentle with the removal. It was kind of lopsided but it was enough I didn't need to be embarrassed at the lake that day.
When I went to pay they told me it was $21. I asked why it was 50% more than the posted price. They said it's because of the amount of hair. As I mentioned, there wasn't a lot given I go so frequently. I didn't argue about it because it would have been really embarrassing to argue in front of those getting their nails done about the amount of hair down there I have. With tip it was $25. You get what you pay for!
I can't comment on the nails as I didn't try that service. If the staff had been friendly, and I didn't have to ask them to be sanitary, I would have had better things to say. My expectations of a cheapie place are pretty low and I think I'm reasonably tolerant about that, but they could have done much better.
