Aquilibrium is trendy, friendly and an enjoyable experience. To be able to say having my hair cut is enjoyable, well I think it's a first. The salon staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. On arrival you are asked if you would like something to drink whilst waiting in a stylish entrance area. From here your stylist takes you to a seperate hair washing room in which they play relaxing natural music. The hair washing used to be the part I dreaded with those uncomfortable basins and rough hands yanking at my head, but not here. My stylist always makes sure I'm comfortable and gives my scalp a wonderful treatment. After that you are taken back into the cutting room in which all stations have full length mirrors. My stylist always checks with me that the length she wants to take off is ok, but other than that I leave it in her hands and always leave satisfied. She knows my hair, and what works with my hair type which is very important as I have frizzy curly hair. She knows me and speaks to me like a friend. My overall experience there is fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone living in the durham region!
