Okay, so this probably isn't going to help a lot of you, but it's more of a reference if you do go. If you're in the Dominican Republic and stay at the Bahia Principe then you have to go to the spa! It's amazing! I really wanted to do the chocolate spa thingy, but I decided to be a bit more daring. In my package, I had (not in this order) a whirl pool, sauna, massage, and acupuncture! Yes, ACUPUNCTURE! It was amazing and it really took away all the pains I had. During my massage I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep. It was such an amazing experience, I just had to recommend it to anyone who may be going down there. I would highly recommend the acupuncture. It may seem really scary at first (especially if you're squeemish with needles), but trust me, it's worth it!

The best way for me to describe the acupuncture would be that your muscles basically melt. There is flexing (tense), normal (average/relaxed), and acupuncture (melted muscles). It's the only way I really know how to describe it. You will understand when you get it.

I was just reading on the web page that there are other Bahia Principes (like a Best Western or Days Inn) around Mexico, Spain, and Jamaica. It's such a great resort, the people are friendly and very helpful. The whole resort is fantastic too!
