I went for a massage at this place and had an appointment with the RMT Wendy Feng. I don't know how many massage therapists work at this location but the service I received was extremely unprofessional. First the place doesn't look at all appealing. It is more like a cluttered house. The business is located in a residential area. The environment is not at all relaxing. The massage table was in a cluttered room and I was given a RAG to cover myself. The therapist did not know English, the best she could do was, "is your this ok?" I didn't even once hear the name of a body part of muscle. Then she left me in the middle of the massage to go out to talk to somebody and didn't return for 10 mins. She never asked me once how I was feeling and how the pressure etc. was. She charged me for an hour but the actual massage time was 20 mins. Arguing with her and trying to explain that this was not right was useless because of her poor English. This was a painful experience and I came out of the massage more tense than when I went in. And yes those 20 mins that she spent on my back didn't do anything. As she could not communicate appropriately, she injured my throat by suddenly pressing my shoulders without letting me know. Please save your money and life and find some other RMT in Yellowknife. This was my first massage in YK since I am new here and will never go back to Wendy Feng, nor will I recommend her to anybody. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISAPPOINTING!
