Only Asian store nearby.

Hubby and I just moved out to Oshawa from Newmarket. It was a huge change for me since I was so used to having an Asian grocery store nearby. It was hard for me to find the ingredients I needed. Then I found Blue Sky! They have everything I’d ever need.
The only thing is watch make sure you check for expiry dates on things. I’ve seen a few things that are expired and still on the shelf.
Customer service is pretty much non-existent too. But most Asian grocery stores are this way. So I don’t fault them for it.

This is pretty much the only grocery store I shop at. It's really hard to find Asian foods in Pickering, so when this place opened up, I was so relieved not having to drive to Scarborough all the time to get my groceries. The prices are also top-notch. I live near an Independent, but the prices there just do not compare to Blue Sky. My only complaint would be the lack of cashiers. If you can, don't go on the weekend.

Blue Sky Supermarket in Pickering Ontario is the best Asian supermarket I have been to. I love just walking the isles looked at all the different items they have. I usually go here to grab ingredients to make sushi but they also have Halal meat counter as well as fresh fish section. Awesome supermarket!
