I have been a student of Brass Angels for almost two years, and am actually quite insulted by one of the recent comments made (the one saying that it's a terrible workout and the only way it will work you is if you have never done any physical exercise in your life). A fantastic enterprise, a business built for women by women. The studio itself is beautiful, the instructors are fantastic, and the workout is HARD! It is absolutely non-judmental, a comfortable environment where women of all shapes and fitness levels can work together without feeling bad about themselves. Cardio, fat-burning, muscle-toning excellence, and lots of pole fun is all I can say! You can advance through levels and advance your workout as well. I love Brass Angels, and will never turn back :)
I am so glad to have found Brass Angels. It has brought a major change in my life and put a spring in my step. I just finished my level one class, learning my pole dancing moves and spins, what an awesome fitness workout! I am addicted to pole dancing for fitness! The instructors are fantastic teachers and every class is like a party. I've been showing off my pole dancing moves to my husband-- he loves them!

I was first introduced to Aradia from attending my girlfriend’s bachelorette party. We had so much fun learning pole spins and how to move our bodies that we all decided to sign up for a Level 1 class. The instructors at Aradia in Milton are fantastic. They are so patient and clearly articulate the moves we are learning. The workout is incredible, I didn't know I had some of the muscles that were hurting the next day! LOL I currently have a gym membership and attend 3-4 times a week. It's a struggle to get motivated to go and do the treadmill and bicycle. I find myself excited to go to my Thursday class at Aradia. I enjoy the new friends I have made and the hour just flies by. My husband has noticed a difference in my body and my confidence since taking the classes. I am now currently a level 3 student and am looking forward to the higher levels and inverting. Thank you to all you Aradia girls for reminding me that all women can be sexy at any age or size.
My girlfriends and I recently did a pole dance teaser class at Aradia Fitness Milton and we absolutely loved it! The workout was incredible! We were a little shy at first and didn't know what to expect but, the class was a great mix of sexy floor moves and pole dancing. Our instructor was really patient and broke down the moves really well. It wasn't as intimidating as we thought it would be and, we were relieved that everything was slower paced and explained so well making the moves easier to learn. Sensual dance is definitely an art form and these girls make it look so nice and easy! We all signed up for the rest of the session we loved it so much and we are also booking a pole dancing party for our co-worker's surprise 30th birthday!!
Side note, the studio is beautiful, very high end and incredibly sexy. Milton is really on the map now lol!
ok, so here is the deal. i have been in fitness forever (working out, etc) and i tried a "teaser" class with this studio. now, if this was supposed to be a workout, youve got to be kidding me. we spent pretty much 45 mins lying on the floor and about 10 on the pole. so basically i came to one of two conclusions: a) either this studio caters to people who have never ever ever done anything physical in their whole life or b) its for those who need to move a little slower. not sure who rated this studio before me, but they are either in bad shape (sorry, no offence meant) or are staff "wink wink"
on a side. loved the pole part, but the rest really wasnt pilates. ive been doing pilates for years and this was not it. "influenced" is a strong word to use here. and also, we only spent 10 mins on the pole in a "pole" class
Aradia Fitness Milton (or burlington) Should be number 1, on your list of new things to try this year, if it isn't already! The ladies at these studios have changed my life, I went from flabby and blah, to fit and fabulous! They have taught me not only the art of pole dancing, but how to tap into my sexy side, and find the sexy goddess I had hidden deep inside. Over the last year and a half I have lost almost 60 lbs, and owe alot of gratitude to these women because they helped me, overcome obstacles I never dreamed even possible.

Completely addicted to this place. What started out as an activity for lady's night out has turned into a change in lifestyle. It's the perfect workout - incorporates a bit of yoga, pilates, and upper strength building in a fun challenging way. You push yourself further in order to accomplish harder, more difficult moves on the pole. Its also the only place (outside a stripclub/bedroom) where very riske footwear is encouraged.
The instructors are great - really the key factor to keep you coming back. They're fun, super friendly, and are full of tips on proper technique and ways to help you perfect spins, lifts, and inversions. Every instuctor is different and has a unique style from strength to grace and flexibilty which will help you with a well rounded experience.
The classes are arranged in levels that gradually build up your stength in order to do new challenging moves safely and successfully. Each level consists of 6 classes - 1 each week. The classes run throughout the week at various times to suit every schedule. Drop in classes are also offered as additional workout routines that will guarantee to make you sweat. Workshops in striptease, chair dancing, and holiday themed pole routines are also offered. Best party trick - being able to fling a thong across the room with your stilettos. Thanks Erin
The change you notice in your body is unreal. Muscles you never knew existed will be found. The flexablity achieved by your body will be beyond your expectations. Because the class is so fun it is easily the best workout routine I've ever had - and much easier to stick to. You get to know your classmates and the social part of it turns it into a girls night out every week. Looking forward to working out is something new to me and I like it. My gym membership is a painful memory now.
