Buca - Toronto

Last week my boyfriend and I tried Buca located on King Street here in Toronto and I've got to tell you that I had one of the best experiences. While Toronto is a great city I find that we lack great restaurants that you would find in cities like New York and in Chicago. The restaurant definately has the feel of a restaurant in New York. We ate at 10 pm and yet there were lines to still get seats for dinner. The room was bustling with customers and was filled with a lot of energy. Not only was the atmosphere great, but so was the food. Try the fried olives with chorizo - they are to die for. Pizzas were very yummy and were served on a long wooden paddle and can easily be shared amongst friends. Pastas are freshly made. If you're looking for a great place to dine with your special one or with a bunch of friends I would highly recommend this place. I would suggest that you make a reservation through Open Table as this place is really really busy - and you don't want to be waiting for a table.
