CHANGE - Toronto

i got fitted at change and was extremely impressed with their service. the SA showed me very patiently what to look for in a fit and made sure each bra i tried on fitted properly...and i tried on at least 10! she also brought me tees to try on just so i can see how the bras looked under a tight shirt. also, she proved that i was wearing the wrong size my whole life...i am a 34D instead of 36B...crazy! i love the vibe of the store and will probably end up replacing my entire lingerie wardrobe with change lingerie...because they actually fit! finally, no more bra straps falling down!!

Okay so I feel a little conflicted about CHANGE. If there was a rating between You Betcha and Fugheddaboutit, I would choose that one.

Service was good for the most part, bras are well made really nice quality. Not enough variety in styles for me though. And I think some of styles look a little too... matronly? I had a real hard time finding a bra that I really, really liked. I think many of them were a little too lacy, red, excessive in the frills, etc. I saw many different styles of grandma-style laced panties as well.

This is the part that bothered me the most:
When I saw a bra that I liked, I asked the lady if they had it in my size. She said they they were all sold out on that one, and if I really liked it then I could just by the bra that had a smaller cup size and a larger band size. Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of CHANGE's philosophy, finding a bra that fits you perfectly?! Little bit contradictory there!

They don't get very many sizes either... so if you do find one you love, make sure that they have your size before you get too excited. The lady mentioned that sometimes they only get one bra in one particular style and size. Not exactly very convenient for the customer!

Problem I have is that I think that women need to understand that these sizes are different because they are from Scandinavia. Your cup size will increase and your band size will decrease. Flattering, right? It's like "Omigosh! I lost weight AND my boobs got bigger!" Keep that in mind when you're shopping there, because I still don't think you should "throw away" your old bra size in your mind. This is just a specialty store, and to be honest... I think the "unique" sizing is part of the marketing.

Sorry ladies, but I really had to be honest here.

I went down town yesterday specifically to spend my shop crawl coupon at Change. I picked out my usual size in a few colours and tried them on. The friendly and helpful staff proved to me that I was in the wrong size! I couldn't believe it when I walked out of the store with a bra (and matching panties... very cute!) that was one and a half cups BIGGER and band one size SMALLER!!! Thats crazy! Does this mean I have a reason to go out and buy bras until my entire collection is replaced!?... :) hmmm... sounds good to me!!! :) Great store!

I was pleasantly surprised by CHANGE. It's a bright, clean upscale lingerie shop right in the heart of Queen St. W. Merchandise is well-displayed and they is a variety to suit many tastes. I had no trouble finding sizes on the racks. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and most of all, friendly and service-oriented. A welcome CHANGE indeed!

I shopped at CHANGE during the Shop Crawl (#2) for the first time. I was immediately impressed by the staff's product knowledge and expertise, and then there was the fabulous selection of lingerie and sleepwear that got my shoulder angels in a dither.

"You could always just get both, you know... it's just money." "But you promised your husband you wouldn't go crazy!" "But you look so good, it's baaaaaad - wink wink!"

I had to come back the next day to use my gift card because I just couldn't decide. Either way, the next time I'm in town, CHANGE will be the first stop on my trip of (well-deserved) self-indulgence! My final purchase was a perfectly fitting bra with matching knickers (I love the shop owner's accent!) in a truly unique pattern that sold me on first sight. Their merchandise ranges from practical to ultra-feminine with one-of-a-kinds thrown into the mix, and then there's of course the sales expertise that ensures you'll walk out of the store with something that fits properly and is an excellent quality! A tad pricier than I usually spend, but so worth it!

Today I went on the 2nd Chickadvisor Shop Crawl and had the pleasure of spending some time in Change. I have to say that I was very impressed on the staff and their knowledge base with regards to bra sizing. I too have been wearing the wrong bra size for years! Once the lady fitted me, the bra that I tried on, was perfect in terms of comfort and support. I did not want to put my own bra back on! A friend of mine on the shop crawl with me actually bought her bra and wore it right out of the store! I would highly recommend this store, they have some very reasonable priced pieces and some more pricey pieces but if you get fitted by one of the staff you have the chance to walk out wearing a bra that will fit and support you! :o)

The service was great, very nice, helpful staff. I have been wearing the wrong size bra for years. I didnt believe them at first, I really thought I was wearing the right size. But, now my bra doesnt ride up my back any more, it doesn't dig in, AND all my clothes look better on me. The prices were pretty reasonable too. I shopped in the Metrotown locaion, but I think they have a few locations around town.

This beautiful lingerie boutique is located on Queen St. West nr. John street.

They carry a very nice selection of bras ranging in size from 30A - 44J. The service is very good and they offer free bra fittings. You may be surprised at your true size!

Some of the prices are a little steep compared to what you might find in the mall but most of them are quite competitive and these bras are much nicer. I also really like the personalized service.

I would prefer to shop here over a chain store in the mall any day. I am also impressed with the range of sizes available. It's very hard to find anything smaller than a 34 in other stores and here they go as low as 30.

Go here to spoil yourself, impress your man or just find a good bra that actually fits properly.

I am a very hard to fit size, and this store has every size and in cute styles. The bras are so affordable, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. You could tell they enjoy their jobs.
