I went here a couple of times, both on dates. The food on the menu did seem delicious, but it was severely overpriced. On average, on should expect to spend $20 on ONE burrito...which is quite small!
Also, everytime I was seated, it was always to a very small table, barely fitting two people, despite it being superbly empty.
The food that was served to us had a fresh, non heavy quality to it however, and it was very tasty. There was an option to make your meal spicier, and the sauce that comes with it is amazing!
However, for its price, and the service, I would not recommend it. If they had takeout, or some sort, maybe I will consider?
This restaurant, I think is a one-time-go place, and though I would recommend you to "try" it, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there more than once.
AH HA! This place was TERRIBLE. I went to this restaurant for the first time with AllyChick_Ling a few weeks ago and had high hopes for some yummy food and a relaxing atmosphere and other than the friends I was there with, I did not really enjoy it at all. It did take over 45 mins for our food to arrive and all I had ordered was nachos. I was expecting some killer guacamole (since I love guacamole I am a bit picky when it comes to it) but it was very plain and average (I could have made it in my magic bullet at home). The prices were steep considering what you were getting. The icing on the cake was that both people I was with and myself did not feel well after eating here. I did not get as sick as the others but it is rare that food turns my stomach. Ah well, needless to say, I will NOT be going here again and if anyone I know ever suggests it, I will shoot down their idea in a heartbeat. Such a shame since I like the decor in the place and I thought it would be nice... if someone suggests Chimichanga's my response would definitely be, I would rather starve.
I wouldn't recommend coming here for several reasons:
- The service is extremely slow. I came to this restaurant twice with friends, and ended up waiting about 45 minutes for our food to arrive (both times).
- The food is pretty sub-par for a mexican restaurant. The guacomole was VERY bland (like as if they just mashed the avocadoes and added a little salt) which was upsetting for me because I am a huge fan of guacomole.
- The prices are a bit steep for the portion sizes and quality of food they provide you.
On top of that, I immediately became sick after eating their food. I am NEVER going there again (and I hope you don't either).
