Claire's really is not a good store. They sell overpriced and cheaply made jewellery, and other overpriced cheap phone cases, hair accessories etc. And they should NOT be piercing ears. I'll admit , I myself got my ears pierced at Claire's when I was younger... but if I knew how bad piercing guns were I wouldn't have. I used to work there when I was 18. I know first hand we are not properly trained on how to pierce ears. We're given a paper ear and told to pierce, that's it.... That's all the training we got. I never felt comfortable piercing ears because I felt I should not be doing it but every time I'd inquire about further training or help managers would look at me as if I had 3 heads. I'd get told that this is how everyone learns and I'll get better at time. We cannot properly sterilise the gun and it's been know for earrings to get stuck in the gun half way through piercing someone's ears. Piercing guns are just BAD. In ever way. Go to a professional piercer for PROFESSIONALLY done piercings! I quit after 3 months because I just couldn't promote such an awful thing. I have never once set foot back into Claire's. I feel like if they stopped doing piercings, I MIGHT go in once in a while.. but as long as they continue to pierce I will boycot.

I have never been a huge fan of Claire's accessories.
I find a lot of the merchandise very cheap looking and certainly over priced for what you get.
This is a store for teenagers... and teens are usually the ones providing the service there.
All around unappealing to me.

I find everything here way to expensive and junky. Some cute things for kids but it isn't worth the money.

i like this store but prices are a bit high. i shop here for my neice and i find paying $30.00 for a cheap looking necklace is a bit much for a 6 year old. but they do have cute stuff.

I used to shop here all the time when I was younger. I went back recently for shits and giggles and all the prices had raised, and yet the quality was just as shitty. Not worth it.

Do not go to the one in Scarborough Town Centre lol. If you are alone, you will be stared at like a hawk by a lady who, I assume, thinks you are about to steal something. And not to mention the jewellery is incredibly cheap and tacky.
