Diva - Ottawa

There is a small Diva store in West Ed and I've looked inside, but I've only bought a few things from there. It's pretty cheap when it comes to prices...and the jewlery itself. Like the entry on how they said the stuff they got from Diva broke, that's what happens to me too, which is why i don't like to shop there alot.

I really love the look and feel of the stores! I mean like at first, I thought i had seen every jewellery store. But this one was really cool-- i saw this cute necklace in US magazine on Paris hilton, and then I saw the same necklace in Diva a few weeks later. It was really cool. I usually stop by 1 or twice a month cause they always get new stuff. Quick tip-- go often, there's always crazy 50% and 25% sales or stuff like get one free!

Sorry to say but I haven't been impressed with DIVA. I really do love the LOOK of everything...they have lots of earrings, bracelets, necklaces etc in every colour so if you're going out somewhere special or want something to match a new outfit...it appears to be a great store for cheap finds. Here's the problem. Every single thing (except a pair of earrings) I bought there has broken! I bought 3 really fun looking bracelets anthey all broke (they were just attached with a cheap string). I also bought a necklace and the clasp broke! So basically I find they have a lot of great looking things but I'm not a fan of the quality.

I absolutely love Diva Accessories stores. I was introduced the Promenade Mall location right before Christmas and at first thought it was just another accessory store. I quickly discovered though that they have some really nice stuff at very VERY inexpensive prices. The items I have bought there are quality as well because nothing has tarnished or changed colors or caused my skin any irritation. Since then I have seen this store pop up in other locations and it is quickly gaining popularity amongst friends. Check this store out if ever you come across one. So far I have seen one in Promenade Mall and one in Hillcrest Mall. I am sure there are other locations out there and if not there will be shortly!

Diva stores are slowly popping up everywhere. I had never even heard of them until I walked past one in the mall. Just what we need, I thought. Another junk-jewelry store. I walked in anyway to see what it was about, and I have to say that my first thoughts were wrong. This is a funky new store with a lot of new pieces that I have never seen before. Their style is hip and trendy, and they are constantly changing.

There are numerous styles, under different headings like "golden goddess" and so on, and they all have different themes. They range from rocker chick to chic trend setter. If you find something that you like don't wait! Buy it right away because the style here constantly changes and you will be disappointed the next time you come and it is no longer available. I bought two necklaces there and they are already sold out and they wont be getting anymore. They get a new shipment in every week I believe, so every time you come in you will find something new. I always find something fun here for every occasion. Some of it can be classified as 'costume jewelery', but by no means is any of it of super-cheap quality.
