Dollarama - Halifax

I love shopping at Dollarama!

You can honestly find almost anything in them - from cleaning supplies, to brand name cookware. The store in my area was always under $2, but they recently started to bring in a few higher value products.

You can always find me in this store around the holidays. It's the perfect place to find cute decorations, for very inexpensive prices. I just stocked up on Valentine's Day items, and didn't spend more than $6.00 on them.

This is also a great place to bring children with their "piggy banks" for a shopping spree. My daughter loves to go to the Dollarama to buy new toys with her pennies - even though mommy never actually uses them.

Only downside would be the customer service, and the staff aren't usually the friendliest.

I am also a Dollarama junkie,when I moved from Vancouver I really missed Dollarama and was so excited when they opened one up the hill from me about 6 months ago.Its so popular that the two other dollar stores in town went out of buisness I'm sure its because of it taking away there buisness.It is like no other dollar store it has some really good brand name products but they do sell out very quickly.

Every Dollarama I have been in is huge so there is something for everyone!At my Dollarama the manager said there food aisle is the most popular.They are constantly stocking shelves in this store because items sell so quickly. I've always checked expiry dates and everything is fresh.I bought some Sunsilk Blonde Bombshell highlighting conditioner one day for $1 a bottle!I bought two and went back the next day to buy more and it was already gone.The stuff is amazing I haven't had to dye my hair because this conditioner is really lighting my hair and keeping it so soft.

Nothing is over $2 and and the items are really worth it.I bought all new heavy glass storage containers there to replace my plastic containers and there awesome!Also really stylish plates and glasses.I buy all my glass spice jars here they are 3 for $1!I dry my herbs in the summer and store them in these cute glass containers.I also buy all my tealights and candles here.The deals are endless but it really is a store you have to keep checking on to see whats new before its gone.Many things always stay in stock but brand name items do go very fast.

I am a Dollarama junkie, I shop for many things here. It is not easy living on a tight budget, and this store allows my dollar to go a lot farther. It is amazing the things you can find here. I found 9 bottles of John Fredia hair products for $1.50 each one day, this particular product runs about $12.00 each at any other store. That's a great savings. They get such a wide variety of different items at any given time, you just never know what types of treasures you will find. To me going to the Dollarama is like opening a surprise bag, your excited for a treat, but you just never know what your gonna get.

I love a dollar store and this one delivers! It kind of sucks that everything isnt a dollar anymore but the quality is worth spending the extra quarter considering the amazing new items they have been getting in. Also way more name brand products that are even cheaper then getting them at wal mart. It has pretty much anything you can think of and is always a fun place to go.

Was upset when everything wasn't $1 anymore.... until I saw the stuff they started to get! I'm a dollar store junkie, my kids love the store, and it has pretty much everything!

Is there something Dollarama DOESNT sell?!?!?! I LOVE IT!!!!!!! From cleaning supplies to groceries to even PREGNANCY TESTS (obvioulsy I would never trust these lol), its like your one stop shop for all things cheap!! I stock up on goodies every time I go which is usually once a week. They even have some adorable home decor items (can be hit or miss).... and you cant beat their cards selection at only $1!! NO OTHER DOLLAR STORE CAN EVEN COMPETE!!!
