I just had my second revision rhinoplasty (my third nose job) with Dr. Kim. It has only been a couple of weeks since the surgery so I will update when it's been a year and everything is fully healed but so far I am really happy with the results.

I've met with many facial plastic surgeons over the years, but after I met him for the first time I felt the most confident in his abilities. He was able to show me examples of similar cases he has done and explain exactly what he would do. I peppered him and his staff with questions, had multiple appointments and even spoke to previous patients as part of my decision making process. I even talked to the anesthesiologist and nurses at the surgery center (San Francisco Surgery Center) to make sure I felt 100% comfortable. Being my third time around I wasn't willing to gamble in any way.

I had my first surgery in 2004, the second in 2008 and now this one. The first two surgeries were done by a different doctor in my city and both resulted in a fair bit of skewing of my tip. I uploaded a picture so you can see from the first two what happened. The third is Doctor Kim's work.

Though it has only been a short time, my nose looks really really good. I'm shocked at how quickly I healed and how normal I look because the past two procedures took much longer to heal. I had an ear graft for this one, which was painful but necessary.

His office is gorgeous with picture perfect views of the golden gate bridge and Alcatraz.

I found his staff very down to earth and happy to answer any of my questions and do whatever they could to help me. They didn't pressure me at all to commit to the procedure, which I appreciated.

Since I was an out of town guest, they hooked me up with a hotel affiliate for really great rates. I wouldn't stay at those hotels again because they weren't as comfortable or well staffed as I would have liked, but I appreciated that they had the option.

I was also extremely impressed with the staff at the San Francisco Surgery Center. It was a much more pleasant experience than the hospital. I was the only patient there at that time and I got first class service. I sat in a lazy boy with heated blankets until it was time for my surgery. Everyone had excellent bedside manner.

As I said, I will update once a year has gone by and I can see if anything has warped (fingers crossed because I'm not doing this again!) but at this point I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Kim. He's top notch, his prices are reasonable (considering some want to charge $30K for this) and he is a smart, kind man.

If you are considering booking with him, I highly recommend you do.
