I have been a regular customer at Eclectica for over 3 years and I have always been very satisfied with the service at this salon. The place is small but there is ample room to do what has to be done. I don't know how the previous reviewer "gr8one" can compare it to a basement salon - perhaps she has been to many basement salons (and should continue to go to them). I love the intimate atmosphere and the ladies there are always welcoming.

My husband got me a packcage from this place which I thought would be okay since it is within a hotel. It included a facial, manicure and pedicure. I got the facial first and got an allergic reaction to the products they used. It took a week for it to clear. While getting the facial done, the lady doing it kept trying to sell me all kinds of products that she claimed were "all natural". When I went back to use up the manicure/pedicure, she refused to do the manicure because I was 10 minutes late. She did the pedicure and at the end sprayed the quick nail dry on it, put flip flops on me and showed me the door. I found her to be very unprofessional, not friendly and unreasonable considering the day I came late, there was no one else there waiting for service. The place is so tiny - they do the facials, manicure/pedicure and massages in 1 tiny room that they seperate from the hair salon using what I consider to be closet doors. The hair salon only has 2 chairs. I'm not sure why they would even call it a spa. It almost feels like a home basement operation. I would never go back or even recommend anyone to go there.
