Flirty Girl Fitness - Toronto

I joined with 3 of my girlfriends. What enticed us was a promotion they had where you received a free ticket to their 'Flirty Night Out'.

First of all, the night out was awful! The staff was rude and belittling to me and my friends, and after talking to some ladies there (the sober ones at least), they felt the same way. Then we went to the after party, which was a bigger mess as all of the Flirty Girl staff was so drunk that chaos ensued trying to get in. It was a shame to see the actual staff so liquored up as these were the people who were there to help and recruit potential members, not to mention they are the ones representing the company.

Then the classes. I will admit, they have potential and can be fun. Some are more fun than others, but the instructors I've tried so far seem a bit frazzled, unprepared and uncoordinated. They seemed more enthralled with watching themselves dance in the mirrors, than helping anyone else out around them.

The ladies behind the desk are just rude. I read on a review where someone referred this place to a 'sorority house' and I completely agree. They are catty and mean. While waiting for a class to start, I took a seat and just people watched. I saw the employees making faces and gossiping after a member would sign in. Very rude and inappropriate.

I think the owners should be advised that this is going on, because it's very discouraging to see. Again, the place has potential, but it isn't worth the $100 per month membership.

Hire a personal trainer and workout elsewhere.

The array of classes offered is unbelievable. Everyone must try the Pole Dancing Class. But beware --- you're arms & upper back will be sore the next day! The teachers & staff are amazing & welcoming.

Tips:
Bring a waterbottle
Bring a towel
Be prepared to shake your boo-tay!

I've been a member for a long time. All of the instructors are really easy going and I would describe the atmosphere as modern and chic. The fitness classes consist of a grueling hour of no-nonsense circuit training. The dance classes and pole dancing are also lots of fun - and trust me..you really need to be fit to strip! Trust me, it's not pretty if you're not fit enough to stabilize yourself while you're doing a sexy slide!

It was so much fun!

I've been a member of Flirty Girl Fitness only since January of this year and I must say I'm sorry that I didn't join earlier.
Like Kerry and Krista, I watched that episode of Oprah with my best friend where Terri Hatcher showed off some of her Strip Tease Aerobics moves and we were immediately excited and impressed with them. My girl friend and I searched the yellow pages and different websites searching for Strip Tease Aerobics in Toronto, but had no luck, eventually we gave up. Then last May on a Sunday afternoon I was channel searching and came across a commercial you guys had on OMNI TV. I was so happy, however, I was in a one year commitment with a gym and couldn't get out. As soon as the year finished, I contacted you guys. At first I was only interested in Pole, Lap and Strip Tease classes. I started trying a bit of every class you offered and now I AM HOOKED on you guys.

There are days when I'm there from 5:30- 9:30 then I'm back for more the next day.Its amazing where I find the energy from, but the trainers there motivate me to do more.
I've done weights and cardio exercises for years and have gotten a lot of complements on my body, but, never have I done the things I have done at Flirty Girls and I'm loving it. My body is leaner that before, I'm more flexible and definitely more defined. Every week you guys are offering new classes to make sure that we dont get bored and have a lot of choices.
I'm loving Power Yoga, GI Jane, Basic Boxing for Babes, Flirty Girl Fight Club, Vertical Ballet Bar, Pole 101, Hoolah Hooplah.

I'm really glad you guys took the imitative to open this studio, you give a lot of women a place to go to exercise in every way without being judge. The instructors are very nice but they still push us to kick asses.

I have been working out at Flirty Girl for about half a year now. I have never enjoyed working out like this before. I hate when I have to miss a class! The facility is beautiful; the instructors are amazing. I feel encouraged in each class wether it is a sexy pole dance or a serious fitness class. It is really the best place for a girl to get a great workout in this city!

I went here for the first time the other day with Artist to try the free drop in class. I was extremely nervous at first, having not been near a gym for about five years, and really having no idea what to expect. However as soon as I got into the studio, I immediately relaxed. I forget the name of the person teaching the pole dance class, but she was extremely energetic, patient and helpful. I had some trouble doing the spins at first, but she was definitely very helpful and made sure I knew how to do them.
Going to flirty girl was a huge confidence booster - I felt so happy during and after the class, and definitely plan on going back as soon as I have some spare time.

Always a fave - the girls at Flirty are great. Love the workshops!
As an affiliate of v:space studio - we definitely support the flirty girl philosophy of taking care of ourselves, looking great and having fun!

I just started going to Flirty Girl this year and it's been SO much fun. I look forward to my classes every week and I always leave them feeling upbeat and excited, no matter how bad my day was.
The staff are all very warm and welcoming and will gladly answer any questions you have. The instructors are fun and excited and are always more than willing to stop and explain a move again if you're having trouble catching on.
The mood in the classes is always one of freedom and women can have fun and feel sexy without worrying about their bodies, because every woman is beautiful.
The facilities are clean and modern. They offer everything you need, right down to styling products for after your shower, so there's no need to go home, you can head right downtown to try out your new dance moves right away!
I would definately recommend trying this place out.

The ladies at my Daycare plan a trip for all of the staff and the cool moms every year. They don't tell us what we are doing or where we are going. This year we pulled up to Flirty Girl Fitness. I wasn't sure what to think. We did the Pole Dancing and the Coyotty Dancing. It was sooooo much fun! And a great work out. I coud feel all of my muscles the next day. The staff made it a lot of fun! I hope we go back next year!!!!
