This had been the brunch destination of choice for my boyfriend and I. Parking is readily available on College Street. He gets his greasy bacon & eggs and I get to go shopping at Winners across the street afterwards! I do enjoy the relaxed and easy-going atmosphere at Fran's. The servers are always courteous and we've never had to flag anyone down for coffee refills. Food wise, I'd say this is middle of the road - a safe place to have the classic diner breakfast. Although I was underwhelmed by their eggs benedict, their steak & eggs was fine. This is a keeper for its easily accessible location, simple food, and a good compromise if you have a boyfriend who's not too adventurous in the food department.

I love going to Fran's for their breakfast when I am in the city. Their juices are freshly squeezed and they have really good eggs benedict (my fave). If you are looking for all day breakfast or a great little diner, Fran's is great! Yummy! :o)

This restaurant is a classic diner. What I like most is that they offer huge food portions and yummy all day breakfasts. Their juices are 100% fresh and squeezed - you can even see your orange juice being made from the big orange juice machine. I'm also a huge fan of their lemonade. I also love their pancake syrups since they come in a wide variety..like apple, raspberry, strawberry, etc... Oh yum yum yum!

If you're ever downtown and craving breakfast, I would recommend you check out this place!
