Fresh, with 3 locations, manages to fit into the niche that toronto is lacking for vegans. I go grab their $3.50 sandwiches and salads past 5:00pm, or I can run in and grab desert to go when I'm craving their vegan carrot cake.
Focusing on health conscious Torontonians, Fresh groups their food into a few categories: juice/smoothies, rice bowls, and... other (this is an unofficial 'jamie' category).
Unless you enjoy cold entrees, steer clear of their rice bowls. Not for the faint of heart. Vegan/vegetarian, and health conscious - good choice.
My fav? The chickpea curry wrap, without the wrap, on a bed of lettuce. TO DIE FOR.
