I often see stuff on Groupon but rarely any local deals that I am super interested in - I would def purchase from Groupon for wine tours or touristy activities in Toronto or Niagara Falls etc etc. As someone who works at a spa where Groupons are redeemed, I find the people who come in with the promos very difficult to deal with....they get very upset if they have to upgrade and are always shocked when they have to pay taxes. I cringe when clients tell me they "have a groupon" and this stigma makes me avoid the site altogether even for my personal purchases etc.

Like the website, it gives the greatest deal on your purchases, it's an essential one for online shoppers. There are great coupon codes and it can gives you an alert when there's a new one.

Worth a Look!

I have purchased a few awesome deals from them. You do however, have to weed through to find deals, but it is worth it. I got tickets for Canada's Wonderland for a steal and everything went very smoothly. I also was able to try out a couple subscription boxes for a really good deal without having to commit to the subscription. I would suggest reading all fine print closely and your experience will be a lot less stressful.

I love groupon. I have gotten things like gift card for half the price. I have gotten discount tickets to museums and also Every year I get a voucher for my bjs membership at a lower price plus a gift card, it is an awesome deal. I love it.

I have purchased many Groupons in the past and really enjoyed the savings I was receiving and liked how easy it was to use at the places I purchased them for.

I have not looked at the website in a long time, as I unsubscribed to their e-mails as they were getting too frequent. I also find there are barely any local offerings on Groupon anymore, which is disappointing - it's mostly things you can get online only or travel deals that I will never use. Bummer - it was great when it was for local restaurants, etc.

I'm a huge fan of Groupon! I have purchased several sets of concert tickets, food vouchers, kayak vouchers even extremely comfy and soft undies for my hubby. Their customer service team is fantastic too which makes the experience that much better.

Depends on what you are buying from groupon. Lots of people don't read fine prints anymore but when you purchase anything from Groupon, you gotta learn to read the fine prints especially if it's a service or travel or even vouchers. Be aware of the expiration dates. I have purchased a lot of things from this site since 2011. I'm lucky enough that I didn't have any bad experience from them. I love how they have local deals and lots of goods lately. I buy stuff to from Aliexpress or Wish.com and I think it's very comparable when you are using groupon. Groupon ships items faster than buying stuff from aliexpress.
