I always stop by Harbord Bakery when I'm in the neighborhood. Everything is good here. The only bad thing is having to decide what to take home with you!

I have been going to Harbord Bakery for over 20 years and I still get a happy-feeling everytime I step inside the bakery. I started going when I was a student at UofT and lived around the corner because it was the cheapest and best tasting breakfast around. I would roll out of bed and stumble into HB for a cheese-twist bagel (or two). I would often have it eaten before I got back to my room. Besides the wide variety of breads, they also have wonderful danishes, croissants, cakes and cookies. I work in the area now and visit HB every week for fresh bread. The service is fantastic. You will not be disappointed with a visit to Harbord Bakery.

My boyfriend bought me a cake from here on my birthday! Great bakery for cakes for special occasions. They only downside is that they only sell the whole cake, so you cannot go for just a slice if you wanted to! Everything is also priced well, not too $$$. A must try here is the White Chocolate Mousse cake. Its so delicious, and not too sweet. If you're looking for a cake for a special occasion, Harbord is the place to go!
