The Heart & Crown really is "the heart" of the Irish Village in Ottawa. The Irish Village is made up of pubs down Clarence Street. It's a really fun place to be for drinks, food, and local music. It has a fun Celtic feel, and you can actually hear yourself talk most nights, although it does get pretty crowded. It's best to come early if you want to get in, otherwise you may be standing out in the cold all night, due to its popularity. Mother McGintey's and Roisin Dubh (The Black Rose) are also part of the Irish Village and give off the same feel, but for some reason, I think the Heart & Crown is my favorite.
