I just discovered a great secret in Toronto. The Lakeside Eats patio. This is uber casual, you order from inside and bring your food and drinks outside to sit on the patio. The music is bad but the view is great. You can sit here as long as you want and no one cares if you even order anything. There is free wifi from wireless Toronto.

If you want to be outside but need to keep working, this is a great place to bring your laptop and enjoy free wifi, a beautiful location and a $5 glass of wine or beer. The only issue is the music. Oh the music is bad. And Loud. Bring headphones. I can't vouch for the food as I have never eaten here, but on weekdays it is not busy.
