Lusso Restaurant and Bar - Toronto

We love coming here to sit by the water and have a drink or two in the summer. The wooden benches with cushions and blankets keep you warm in the evening and you just can't beat the ambiance. However, the food here is mediocre and kind of expensive. Next door at il Fornello, the food is better but they don't have the nice benches. I would recommend this as a place to come with friends for drinks for with your sweetie for a night cap.

I come here all the time and whenever I have guests bring them here for a nice drink by the water. They have gorgeous wooden benches you sit on with pillows and blankets outside that look out onto the water. I love the ambiance here and it's great for a drink and possibly an appetizer or two. However the food isn't very good and the service isn't that good either. I came here for lunch with my sister in law the other day and not only did we wait a very long time for lunch, but they forgot our food. In the end we got our lunch for free, which was nice, but it's incredibly frustrating to watch every table enjoying their meals while you sit there wondering if they remembered you existed. If you just come here for drinks and a snack, it's great and I highly recommend it. They could stand to expand their menu and they possibly need some more wait staff. Our server, though he forgot about us was very nice and polite. We got the sense there weren't enough servers to go around.
