Have you ever gone to a place, had the food and come out and thought to yourself, "man, that was so good... it's as good as mum's cooking"??

Masala Zone serves traditional Indian food - and I thoroughly recommend them if you want to try what REAL curry is supposed to taste like. The chefs there take years to train and their standards are simply impeccable.

A lot of the restaurants in the UK have recipes that are mediocre and were actually created in the UK (did you know the Onion Bajee doesn't exist in India, nor does Chicken Tikka Masala?) - they're not the same authentic tastes that, say, an Indian person would be having at home.

I'm always looking forward to my next visit there and the food really is friendly to your pocket. I'd suggset ordering a 'Thali', as you get a lot of food for quite a cheap price. The service there is as good as you can expect it to be in a place that serves hundreds of people every day but I'd still say they're more attentive than others.

The decor isn't exactly amazing, but it's nice enough - what you're really there for, though, is the food!

You're also likely to spot a few Asian celebrities there - I've seen some of the actors from Goodness Gracious Me there!!
