The Mikado chain is my go to.
The south one is closer to me so I go there more often.
I usually get the same few rolls because I am not very adventurous.
It can get pretty busy so if I didn't make a reservation and I don't feel
like waiting around long, I pick up my order.

We had eaten lunch on Sunday at this Japanese restaurant. We both had bento boxes. Terry had a bento box with beef, chicken and tempura. The beef was cold and tough and chewy for being thinly sliced. The tempura was very oily. We had also waited for 30 minutes to get in at 4 pm because they only had three waitresses on duty, so most tables were empty. When we reported the beef was cold, the waitress investigated and returned to our table to explain that it was the chefs error and offer to take 20% off the cost of the cost of his bento box. Despite what we experienced that day at the Japanese restaurant the tea was good. WelI, when I ordered the same bento box with no onions, the waitress explained that the sauce that was on the beef had onions in it. Then, I had asked for extra chicken instead. Well, for any additions would cost $2. We have eaten at this restaurant many times before and have had great service, no wait times and the food was great. i must say, this incident was a first for us. We did have a great waitress. Would I go back, yes as I feel this was an isolated incident.
