My favourites here are the Montfort Chicken/Chicken Shawarma/Hummus. So far, the best, most authentic hummus I've had since leaving the middle east, love it.

The service isn't too great, and I find it a little pricey, but the food is what matters the most.

I have been to Montfort in Oakville and the one in Burlington. Some of the items on the menu was very good. My favourite is the chicken schwarma. The garlic sauce is very creamy and balances out the spiciness of the chicken. However I was a little dissappointed with their farfalel sandwich. It costs $5 and there is only 2 farfalels in the pita bread. I would have expected more farfalels. Another dissappointment was the tomato salad. Portion size was very small and 3/4 of the salad was lettuce. There was very little tomatos in the salad and it cost me $6.50 for a small side salad. I have also tried their lentil soup. It was a total failure. I would expect a thick consistency but what I got was watered down lentil soup. It didn't have much flavour either. I would recommend their chicken schwarma only.

I first ate at the Montfort's in Oakville which was recently renovated and looks very nice and new inside. I have since also eaten at the Montfort's in Mississauga which has older decor but the food is equally as good as the Oakville location. The food is very inexpensively priced and it is very tasty! You get a lot of food for what you are paying. I would highly recommend the Montfort Chicken Pita....the food is tasty, the garlic sauce is yummy and the food portion sizes are good. This eatery also offers late night hours so you can grab a bite instead of going to a drive through in the wee hours of the morning. If you are ever in the area, give this place a try!
