Located right in the heart of the financial district, O & B Cafe Grill is a welcome change from chains like *yawn* The Keg and *shudder* Houstons. It has a great ambiance and a more inventive menu. However, aside from the lovely decor it is decidedly average. I completely see the appeal in coming here for after work drinks, but it isn't one of those places where the food is particularly memorable.

Our service was slow initially as it took some time for them to realize we were there even though the Hostess told us to sit wherever we wanted. I ordered the veggie burger with watermelon salad. This turned out to be a giant piece of watermelon with some tomatoes on the side... but no lettuce. I feel this is the sort of thing the server should warn you about. It's not like you order a salad with oranges and are served an entire orange with a sprig of mint on the side. Worth a mention, at least.

Overall it was fine. It was a nice experience but not remarkable. Our other experiences with O & B restaurants have been better so far.
