Onaré Salon - Mississauga

Went to Onare for a cut and color. Had an amazing cut and style with Ania and color with Vicky. Best cut and color I have had in a long time. Thank you so much ladies! See you both in 6 weeks :)

I will procrastinate getting my hair cut .. for years!! I have curly hair and I am very picky with the style; No short layers, keep it long and bohemian.
I find a lot of stylists that I used to see nod when I tell them but in the end .. I come out with the style THEY want. Short and poofy. Not here! I came in for a student cut with Ania Wazny. She used a razor (which gave my curls less of a 'blunt' edge so I don't look like I'm wearing a pyramid on my head) She is so talented and creative! AND she listens to you, works with you and suggests options you might not have even thought about.
I would totally recommend her!

I've battled with bad hair cuts for a while. That all changed when I was convinced to try Onare. I was real hesitant to go to a "salon" being a guy but I don't think I'll ever stray. The stylist that I keep coming back for is Ania, she is awesome! I now get excited when it's time to go back for my next cut, because I know I'm coming out fresh!

I just received a cut from Courtney and a colour from Joanna! They were both awesome!! I took in pictures of what I wanted and after a full consultation and asking me a few questions about my lifestyle , examining my hair texture and face she suggested I do something slightly different then what I was asking for. I LOVE IT!!! its easy to manage and looks great on me!! Cortney took the time to show my how to style it and what would work on my hair and what wouldn't work! They made a lifer out of me!!

I just had the worst hair cut of my life. The lady didn't listen to a word I said and did her own thing. She ruined my hair, it's not even semmetrical, there are pieces longer and shorter that shouldnt be. I hate my hair so much I want to shave it off, I feel so ugly now. My brother had his hair cut from this same place from a short asian man and he did an amazing job, but the older woman that cut my hair should be fired on the spot, she is a disgrace to the name hair stylist!!!

So having just moved to the area and in need of a hair cut, I went to Onare based on the reviews on this site. While the staff was super friendly, as previously reviewed, I didn't find the place anything special. In fact, I found it kind of average. In terms of my hair cut, I brought in a picture and showed [my stylist]* what I wanted. Now she didn't give me exactly what I wanted, but she was super nice. She did a good job, but I couldn't help but feel that she was pricey for her level of experience and the haircut I got. At $60 I expect to get what I want. That being said, she knew what she was doing, but she didn't listen to me when I said I despised short layers. So all that being said - I think Courtney is a good stylist, but not necessarily worth $60 tax tip. I also think the salon ambiance is vastly overrated... and it was a little unclean. She didn't clean her brushes between appointments... and she was running behind from doing a men's cut. Anyways. It was just so so... I think I'll find another place instead...

I've just recently started going to Onare and was recommended to see Joanna for my color. It had been a long while since someone had gotten my hair color "just right" and she achieved that!! We've done dark and light colors and she knows exactly how to make each one right for me. She's awesome! April cuts my hair and also does an amazing job. She makes my hair easy to manage and look just as good at home as it did that day at the salon!!

Awesome Salon with great service! If you want to feel great about yourself you should check this place out. If you have crazy curly hair like I do then this is the place for you!
