This is by far the best take-out food I have ever gotten. Sold from a catering truck on the corner of Blanchard in Victoria, BC, (Colwood). I indulged in what must have been 3lbs of the best poutine of my life. I definetly had to share. This Pulled Pork Poutine was irresistable. Mainly due to the fact that there was a heaping half pound of juicy, smoky pulled pork, layered with goat cheese and traditional "pig roast" gravy...smoky, sweet, and a hint of spice; all over crispy restaraunt-style fries.. Coming from a family where pig roasts are even appropriate as wedding receptions, this pork ranked high on my list of best "home-cooked" flavour. Only for $10!
I want to go back to Colwood just to try more of their menu! Maybe try a Pulled Pork Sandwich, a Smoked Chicken Sandwich or maybe 1/2 rack ribs with cornbread and slaw or beans, even Crispy fried Mac & Cheese! Or you can even go and pick up dinner! 10pc chicken, Pound of beef brisket or a Pound of pulled pork, Pint of beans/Slaw....My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
