This is a tiny salon located inside a pedestrian mall in the Byward Market - the name itself implies somewhere luxurious, but definitely not! I arrived after work at 4pm on a weekday for a cut and colour. After my cut was done, I was informed that I should have told them in advance that I have "alot of hair", and that they close at 6 so there wouldn't be time for my colour. I have shoulder-length straight hair, nothing exotic. If the owner's chooses not to trust her own stylists to lock up (meaning she has to stay while clients are there), maybe she should make sure the person booking appointments over the phone is asking the right questions ie., 'what length/type of hair do you have'? So, I was required to re-book and come back another day! I was very put out, my blowout that day was rushed bc the owner was tapping her foot at the door to get me out, and the resulting colour was mediocre; overall customer service is clearly no priority here.
