STRANGE EXPERIENCE WITH A MASSAGE THERAPIST

I went just two weeks ago for a couples massage with my husband. The first 45min of the hour massage were fine (other then my male massage therapist massaged my arms and legs as well as my back and neck, when on the form I had filled out I had requested that only my back, shoulders and neck be massaged) but the last 15min became a bit strange. He got me to turn over on my back and started to massage my neck and around my ears. He then began massaging my earlobes and then all of a sudden stuck his fingers right inside my ears and quite aggressively shook them in there (that's the best way I know how to explain it). It happened somewhat fast, so it was over before I could say anything, and to be honest I was just kind of stunned. He then started to massage my head, but again quite aggressively. I've had therapists massage my head before, but this was way more intense then I ever experienced and I definitely have never had someone put there fingers right into my ears. The whole experience left me feeling a bit weirded out. I wasn't sure if that was some type of new massage, and even if it was, I felt like I should of been asked if that was something I would like to have done to me before he actually put his fingers right in my ears. Anyways, I've called the spa today and I'm just waiting for a manager to call me back so I can inquire about why I was massaged like that. Either way, I don't think I will return. The massages there are quite expensive, so I don't think I would pay that much money again for that weird experience. Also, I asked my husband after if anything like that happened to him and it didn't, his therapist didn't go anywhere near his ears or head. Needless to say, for a couples massage my husband and I had very different experiences.
