I bought a voucher for this place from Living Social, so I wasn't really expecting much for what I was paying -- places tend to put less effort in when clients don't pay full price. However, there were several problems.
- the woman I checked in with (plus the woman on the phone when I made the appt) knew I had a voucher, but the stylist did not, and when we talked about what would "look good", she encouraged me to get something that was NOT covered by what I'd paid for. So I ended up paying twice as much as I'd planned because of the "extras" that I didn't know what was covered.
- when I booked the appointment, I asked if three hours would be enough for foils. She assured me it would. But today, the woman kept leaving me to deal with other clients, and it took over four hours. I know it takes a bit to let the dye set, but there's a difference between working while the dye sets and leaving me with a head of half-cut hair while she rinses out a perm. Couldn't someone else rinse out the perm?

I'm new to the salon game so I don't know what to expect, but I don't think I'll be going back at all.

Nice new combined spa and salon in one location now. Owner and senior stylists lovely. Price for highlights and cut is reasonable, compared to other more trendy places. Owner provides continual on site monthly training for staff regarding latest styles and colour. only area of improvement suggested is one of the key receptionists needs some training on how to speak professionally and respectfully to clients as she can be rude and direct and actually inappropriate as the meet and greet person. Not a good type to put at the front.

I purchased a Groupon for this place against my better judgement. The deal was a $20 cut plus an additional $6 charge for longer hair (plus an additional $5 in taxes & fees). The cut & highlight package had an additional $10 charge for longer hair. I wound up being charged $10 instead of $6 & had to go back because the guy who did my hair thinned out the left side more than the right. Despite his attempt to fix it, it still looks uneven, but I don't want him touching my hair anymore. This is the first time I've encountered this type of 'service'. I intend to complain to the owner & I'd warn anyone about having this guy do your hair.

BEWARE! The often offer 50 % coupons on group coupon sites. Then they only do a 50% job . Avoid **, she was too lazy to do my friend's whole head for hilites leaving a ring around her head. Complained to owner who had her come back. Owner didn't even look at it , just sent her back to ** who did a second lousy job. Owner didn't even checkfriend out before left salon. Guess you get what you pay for.
