For some reason, I always get a sushi craving mid or after shopping. Sushi Garden is an excellent alternative to the sub par sushi at the Metrotown food court. It is completely worth the 5 minute walk from the mall.

Sushi Garden on Kingsway in Burnaby is a sushi lovers dream. Their ingredients are always fresh so you know their rolls, sashimi and nigiri sushi will just melt in your mouth. If you love sushi you'll know this is the best place in the lower mainland and if you have never tried it this is the place for you, because of the freshness and array of choices. I always get their california and dynamite rolls along with salmon and ebi sashimi, they will not dissappoint. Their service is not great because they know their food is good, so don't expect them to hang on your every word, you'll have to flag them down to get some service at times. To top it off they have a new location in North Burnaby on Lougheed Hwy just past Willingdon.
