I recently had the pleasure of going to the Good Neighbour Espresso Bar to meet a friend to catch up and grab a quick coffee. I am not sure I would have otherwise discovered this gem unless I had walked by or someone had told me about it because of it's location but I am glad that I did. I love the atmosphere of the Good Neighbour and their seating arrangements inside. Although it is open in nature, there are many nooks and seating areas to sit in and catch up with a friend. My latte was a bit pricey compared to other speciality coffee shops I have been to but for the atmosphere I thought it was worth it. I also enjoyed a delightful butter tart that I would order again if I were in the area. Overall I recommend checking this place out if you are in the area. :)

I've passed this cute cafe in the Junction many times but stopped by this morning for the first time for an Americano and muffin. The space is beautiful. It's airy and open with comfortable seating nooks. Baristas serve up Intelligista and Black Cat coffee, which are two of my favourites. The pastries are quite good. I suspect they are using the same bakery as Dark Horse Espresso since the pumpkin muffin I had this morning was exactly the same. I could see myself coming by here often.

There are only 2 drawbacks that I've noticed so far:

The prices are fairly expensive. An 8 oz Americano is $3. Keep in mind that an Americano is one shot of espresso and some water. Most Americanos from similar coffee shops are under $3. They also carry panninis, which are reasonably priced at $7.99.

It would be impossible to get in here with a wheelchair or stroller as there are large steps leading up to the door and no ramp. It's funny how I notice these things now that I'm always on the lookout for where I can bring my baby.

Aside from that, I definitely recommend it and I'll be back.
