It turns out there is no Starbucks in downtown Greensboro, so I checked out The Green Bean recently. They have a great selection of coffees, teas, etc., plus local baked goodies (they also serve alcohol for the late night crowd). My sister swore it was the best Chai latte she's ever had, and she's probably tried them all.

What I love about this place:
-pool tables in the back
-free WiFi (in fairness, the whole downtown core has it)
-games room stocked with board games, etc
-ample seating
-good selection of organic blends, plus their branded tees are from American Apparel

What I'm not so crazy about:
-they could spruce the place up a little. The grungy-chic thing they have going is a little too eclectic.

I'll definitely stop in next time I'm in the neighborhood!
