I love going to Upper Village Spa! Every time I have visited for a manicure or pedicure, I've left feeling AMAZING. Taylor, Tony and Trina are amazing and always do a wonderful job. The salon carries an amazing range of nail polishes by the best brands. The lotions, scrubs and oils they use are top quality which makes it worth every penny. I would definitely recommend Upper Village Spa to anyone looking for a friendly spa with exceptional service and high quality products like LOVEFRESH and Lalicious Sugar Scrubs and Body Butters. Love this place! If you live in Toronto, treat yourself :)

It was a relaxing manicure as the spa was not jam packed and the manicurist was not rushed for her next waiting client. The clientele was also friendly. Sheri was knowledgeable about colours and the whole Shellac procedure!

I visited the Upper Village Spa initially to try out the CDN Shellac Polish manicure, courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I was greeted warmly by Pina and made to feel at home immediately. The spa is not a large space, but there is no need for it to be. The ambience was calm, inviting and very professional. It was a very clean space as well, with everything sanitized. My appointment was with Taylor, who proved to be an excellent aesthetician. She clearly explained both the products and the process, and was extremely friendly as well as professional. My manicure looked perfect and my hands felt amazing. There are a number of lovely products for sale at the spa, which the staff were happy to show me and I did not feel pressured to buy anything (though I ended up doing so!)

I returned for a facial with Taylor a couple of weeks later since I had such a favourable impression of Upper Village Spa. Yet again, my expectations were exceeded. I was brought into a quiet, dark and comfortable room and was made to feel very relaxed. Again, Taylor explained the products she would be using and took the time to examine my skin and give advice as to how best to care for it. This was then followed by 45 minutes of a blissful facial and arm/hand/shoulder massage. It was hard not to fall asleep! My skin felt wonderful and looked luminous at the end of the hour. I have already booked my return appointment. Needless to say, I definitely recommend the Upper Village Spa!

Upper Village Spa is an adorable, pint-sized salon a two-minute walk from Eglinton West subway station. It drew me in immediately with its cozy and relaxing atmosphere, and the ladies were heartwarmingly sweet and welcoming – even after I was half an hour late for my appointment on a somewhat busy day.
My nail technician's name is Cheri and she was lovely. :) We chatted away the better part of an hour and she had a lot of great advice and recommendations. It's always refreshing to meet someone with a genuine love for their craft (and heaps of experience).
The manicure process itself is very sanitary – as expected of higher-end salons, the nail file and buffer are disposable and opened in front of you, and you have the option of taking them home. The polish application left my nails looking flawless and the grand finale was the hand massage, for which I picked Lalicious Sugar Kiss hand cream (smells as wonderful as it sounds) and Cheri added a dab of CND Solar Oil.
The price of a Shellac manicure ($45, which was kindly covered by ChickAdvisor for this visit) is very reasonable, considering that the application lasts for at least two weeks.
Apart form nail care, their range of services covers everything from facials to hair removal. The brands they carry include oh-so-luxe hair care Oribe, sweet-smelling Lalicious, Montreal-based makeup line Shmink and an array of carefully selected nail polishes, the latest addition a small California boutique line named Smith & Cult. For the home décor fiends, they offer a sinfully soft selection of Kashwére throws. Lampe Berger diffusers and Bkr bottles (a personal favorite, and the popular colors go fast! :).
You can book an appointment online, which is always a plus.
I had never had Shellac before, and I must say that I'm a die-hard convert after my great experience at Upper Village Spa. I can't wait to go back for some more pampering!

I arrived at Upper Village Spa a bit early for my appointment. I was offered a seat and a beverage. I declined the beverage as I had just had one before my appointment. The spa itself is small yet intimate and very inviting. Everyone was friendly and had a smile on their faces. Honestly it was as if I was a regular and not my first time. I think I was seated for less then 5 minutes before the wonderful Cheri came to get me for my manicure. Cheri explained the Shellac procedure and offered various colours for me to choose from. She was professional, funny, friendly, just an altogether warm and lovely person. I would 100% head back to this salon and upon leaving I instantly told friends about the salon and my wonderful experience.

When I called to book my appointment I knew that Upper Village Spa was a good choice. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. It was very easy to book the appointment.

Once I arrived at the salon, they took my jacket for me and offered me a choice of hot or cold beverage. My esthetician was very friendly and professional. She was also very personable which made the time fly by.

I enjoyed my service there and would return again.

**important to note that although I received the service for free, I am not giving a biased review**

I really enjoyed by experience at Upper Village Spa. The atmosphere is cozy, luxe and really comfortable. I was overwhelmed my the lovely scented oils, the premium products and the friendly staff.

I went there to get my first shellac. I've never had one before. I was assigned Cheri and she really took care of me. She let me know a bit more about the process and was very nice in complimenting my hands and nails. I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing, her massage almost put me in a trance.

I definitely give Upper Village Spa two thumbs up. It's such a little gem on Eglinton Ave West that I never would have discovered had it not been for Chick Advisor. In fact - I can't wait to book my next appointment.

This salon is beautiful and spotless. Everyone there is so nice. The girl who did my manicure did the best job that I have ever had. She said I could leave the polish on for 2 or 3 weeks.. My nails looked gorgeous and after one week they still look great. I told my sister to try this place and I would recommend it to all of my friends. I had the best day ever.
