I have been an active Weight Watcher member now since August 30, 2014. To date I have lost 47 pounds with 13 more to go for my LifeTime.
It's a great program because you eat normal, day-to-day food that you would purchase from a regular grocery store. The program teaches you to be accountable for your intake and actions. There is no food that you cannot consume but you are given a choice based on points. Every food has a points value and you are given a points daily maximum as well as extra points for the week. Oprah herself indicated before becoming part of this organization that she did not like a points system, but now that she has tried it herself she has successfully lost weight, is keeping it off and loves the program.
Over the past year the program has been enhanced to include in the points structure; sugar, saturated fat and carbohydrates, making this a really healthy program.
I am definitely going to see my membership turn to LifeTime this time round - I give it a THUMBS UP but remember, you MUST go to the meetings. Meetings are the key to your WW success and having a Leader that you feel comfortable and a group that is supportive. I am so lucky to have this in my meetings. I can count on one hand the number of meetings I have missed in almost 2 years and if I don't go I feel like I missed out.
I say, if you are looking to be successful, give this your all, you will not be sorry.
