I bought this in a mini sample pack from Sephora after having it recommended to me by the Curl Lounge when I started exploring products for my now wavy hair. Even with just past my shoulder hair, I don't find that I need to use a lot of product. In fact, I replaced the shampoo way before I did the conditioner. I find it leaves my hair smooth and with less tangles, and stays soft for days even with workouts. -

I picked up the shampoo and the conditioner on the advice of The Curl Lounge, as during lockdown my hair regained its waves with lack of heat and styling. I first picked up the mini pack from Sephora as it is on the higher priced side for the amount. However, my recent hair cut (finally) my stylist said my hair was in great shape. I have just past my shoulder hair, growing out colour and the shampoo makes it silky with a dime sized amount. -

I don’t think I sweat a lot, but the recent heat wave has made me rethink that. Regardless, I want to stay dry, smell good and not have white marks on my clothes. Well this deodorant does 2 of 3 and I can really ignore the third. I tested this while at the cottage, running and on an overnight flight to europe (and subsequent heat wave). It held up throughout everything! Especially after my night flight, I felt and smelt fresh over 24hrs later as per their promise. Do recommend that you put it on well ahead of getting dressed to dry a bit and not mark your clothing. I also found that my underarms were less sticky/dry when I showered vs with aluminum. -

I have been pretty faithful to my micellar cleanser for my nightly eye makeup removal (I only wear eye makeup) but I found that I still had to use a second product the next morning for residue. I bought the Ordinary product on a whim and took it on a cruise, thinking it would be easier than making a travel size micellar water and cotton pads. I was very happy that it worked perfectly! A little goes a long way and after a water rinse, my eyes were fully clean with no residue in the morning. It does not get as liquid as their ad showed, but it is gentle and non-irritating (to me) and leaves no greasy after feel. And at $8, I think this is a bargain. -

I received this as part of the product review club. I have dry skin for most of the year, typically using in shower lotion and other body lotions to not be so itchy. This Neutrogena lotion went to work immediately! The next day my hands were markedly hydrated like I had had a treatment at the salon. I love the fact that i don’t use that much and the relief is immediate and long lasting. Definitely recommend! -

I bought a pair of Pajar winter boots at the end of last season as my other boots were not keeping my feet warm. And I am glad I did! With -30 temperatures and snow this past weekend, my toes were toasty warm and dry (even after stepping into a massive puddle). They may be pricey, but appreciate that they are a Canadian company, the comfort and look of them. -

Recently in Toronto, Nordstorm held a pop-up shop for the New Zealand shoe company All Birds. Their slogan is that they are the most comfortable shoes ever so I took a chance and bought a pair. Then I bought a second because they are! I teach, so I am on my feet alot during the day. By the end of the day, my feet don't ache, feel great and I can keep the shoes on for anything. Best part is they are either merino wool or euculyptus, meaning they are washable! And the price is the same no matter what colour or style. I highly recommend them. -

I found there to be a chemical/artificial taste, especially with the sprinkles. It was an ok vanilla ice cream, but I would have liked it to be creamier. Overall, less sugar is great, but not over taste. -

I received this product as part of the review club. I am a big Dove fan and was excited to receive Advanced Care Dry spray. I will add, it took a little while getting used to using a spray and even now I will probably stick with a stick. I find I have more control over how much product I am using and I don’t feel like I am spraying the bathroom with a powder scent (or inadvertently my dog). That being said, I did find the product to be quite effective. As a runner, the 48 hours was put to the test after a race and I found myself still smelling powdery and feeling dry after a hard, sweaty run. The smell was just heavy enough I knew I was wearing it but not overpowering or overly lingering. Overall, not my first choice because of the delivery system, but happy with the nature of the product. -
