Firstly, I've long been a fan of Batiste dry shampoo and was super excited to receive a coloured product to test. My hair has always been natural ombre -- blonde at the bottom, medium brown roots, so this product works great. With regular dry shampoos, they often leave a white residue which leaves my roots looking grey. I love that this product blends into my hair and no one can tell! The only thing I dislike is that when you're spraying your roots at the hairline, the brown colours your forehead. It's not a major problem, but unless you're using this product in good lighting, you may mistakenly leave the house with it on your face if you aren't careful!
I was curious to see how well this would work with someone with grey hairs, so I let my mom test it. The product didn't completely cover her grey, but it did mask it well enough that it just looked like light brown hair.
Lastly, this product gave a lot of bounce to my hair. My hair is fairly flat, and Batiste provided decent volume to my roots. Honestly, my hair looks better after using this product than when I use my typical volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Although I love this product, what I don't love is the price. Yes, it is great quality, but it shouldn't break the bank. I think you can get it for fairly less at places like Winners and Marshalls.

I've never used professional waxing services before, but have used regular store-brand strips. My prior experience with waxing strips has been pretty awful -- ripping of skin, not removing hair, and rashes. So, I was quite nervous find out I would be trying Nair strips! I do have Nair facial hair removal cream and love it, so I had high hopes for this product.
I tried the strips a couple of days ago on my legs, and it was a very clean process. Obviously it was a little painful, but I didn't experience any rashes or tearing of skin, and I think the cleansing wipes really alleviated any type of irritation which could have occurred after using the strips. The store brand strips I used to purchase would regularly remove patches of hair. Thankfully, this product I would say is very high quality and is incredibly effective -- removing all hair.
I think this product would be very handy when travelling since they require no heating. These would be very easy to throw in a purse or suitcase. Overall, no mess, high quality product that I would recommend to anyone venturing into waxing. I think the price for 40 strips is very reasonable when considering the claim that results last up to 4 weeks. Definitely recommend!

This has been my go to lotion for at least a year. I previously used Olay lotions, but over time found that they irritated my skin and did not moisturize well. After using this product for a week I think it's a far superior product. I like that it's meant for sensitive skin, which means that it treats my acne prone skin kindly. It doesn't irritate my breakouts and properly hydrates my skin, which tends to be dried out from acne formulas. I would absolutely recommend this product for the winter time -- I think in the summer, this formula will be far too heavy for those with oily skin. The only downside to this product is that it can be fairly pricey where you shop. Regardless, it is more than worth it's price and fantastic for any skin type. -

This eye makeup remover is the first I've tried. Before, I used to buy pre-soaked eye makeup remover pads but switched to bottles as they're less expensive per use. I love this product! At my local store, this bottle is the same price as the store brand product, but much more effective. A little goes a long way, and I don't have to soak a wiping pad to remove all my eye product. The only issue I have is that it doesn't matter how long I scrub or let it soak in, sometimes it doesn't remove all my waterproof mascara which is a bummer. Also, it doesn't leave behind a film or super oily feel. The skin surrounding my eyes get super dry in the winter, and using this product actually helps with that too! I would absolutely purchase this product again in a heartbeat. -

Live Clean hair products are my favourite out there. Although it can be a little pricey, I usually purchase it when on sale, or sometimes when I'm lucky, I can find the products at my local Dollarama which is even better. Regardless, I think this product is well worth the money. For my hair type, these products compare to far more expensive brands like John Frieda. This product leaves your hair feeling very lightweight and noticeably lifted at the roots. A bonus is that you only need to use a little bit of this product to be effective. I have very long hair and bottles of Live Clean last longer than other, cheaper hair products. So maybe, in the long run this may be a cheaper product per use. Overall, Live Clean is by far my favourite hair care product -- not only does it work well, it's natural, and affordable when on sale. I would recommend it to anyone to at least try once. -

I was quite excited to try this product for free through ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. I always use my fingers to blend in my foundation, am not fond of brushes, and never yet tried a sponge. Like others, I found that this sponge is very dense! I tried the blender both wet, and dry -- I found that the sponge soaks up a lot of the product when it is dry. As I need at least medium coverage, I never expected to use it wet (it is supposed to create light coverage), but I prefer it. I think while wet, it blends the product better.
This sponge, as a whole, does not blend foundation very well. I tried it with both my usual liquid foundation, and the accompanying Maybelline Velvet foundation. I didn't prefer it with either product. It does not blend any better than my fingers are able to do. What I do enjoy about this product is its tear-drop shape. The benefit is that it's able to apply foundation in areas difficult to reach -- around the nose and in my under eye area.
Overall, I would recommend this product, but not for what it's meant to do. I think it's worth it to use for under eye concealer and to apply product in areas that sometimes are missed. As a face blender it's just too dense and frankly too small. I think if the sponge was less dense and without a handle, it would be much more effective.

Skin type: Blemish-prone, oily
Skin tone: So white I'm almost translucent
Shade: 05 Warm Porcelain
I was super excited to receive this product in the mail. I'm always interested in trying new foundations as many are problematic for my skin. The first issue I tend to have with foundation is that even the lightest shade is too dark for my skin. Warm porcelain is currently a little too dark for me, but I think it will match better in the summer time when I have a bit of a tan. The second issue I have is that foundations tend to clog my pores (even products that claim to be non comedogenic). Before I used this product, my skin was mostly clear -- the only problem being hyperpigmentation. Unfortunately after two days of use, I've noticed many clogged pores all over my face. I'm going to take a few days of rest before testing it again to see if it is truly the product.
The consistency of the product is very nice. I'm fond of mousse-like foundations so this was great. What I didn't enjoy was how fast this product dries! You can't dab it all over your face and then work it in -- you have to use it one spot at a time..which I don't mind doing. You definitely feel the hydrating claim with this product. Especially in the winter, where my skin can sometimes end up flaky when outside for long periods of time. Those flakes never happen with this product! This product makes your skin feel very smooth and definitely velvety. I did notice that there is a matte finish, which this product claims. I combined this with a matte primer and it helped keep the shine at bay longer than my typical foundation.
Overall, I really like the consistency of the product. I think if I did not have blemish-prone skin, I'd like this product a lot more (and if it came in my shade!). I let my mum try this product. She has dry skin and she really enjoyed it, so I would recommend it to someone with normal/dry skin.

I purchased this product in hopes that it would work with hyperpigmentation from hormonal acne. I never intended to use this on my entire face, as I don't have all-over redness, so I mixed it with the poreless primer.
At first, the colour of the product scared me. It comes out of the pump bottle a bright and dark-ish green. But this colour dissipates when you blend it into the skin. Also, it feels very light which is a bonus!
The product did significantly reduce the redness of the marks. All I wanted to find was a product that would allow me to use less foundation/concealer to cover my marks, and that's exactly what this product delivered at an extremely affordable price.
Additionally, I let my mum use this product. She has rosacea and this product easily neutralised the redness so much that she didn't need to use any light concealer at all. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone needing to counteract redness.

I purchased the poreless primer after watching Youtube tutorials touting its matte finish. With oily skin, I often look for primers which help in mattifying and minimising pores. I am very impressed with this primer! Not only is it super affordable, but it instantly has a matte finish and absorbs well into the skin. After eight hours of wear, I noticed only a little shine in my t-zone. It helped to minimise my pores slightly, which is better than nothing! As this primer works with all skin types, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone! -

The only thing I dislike about this product is the price. I only purchase it when it's on sale, and when it's on sale I hoard it. I've spent the past ~10 years searching for a volumizing shampoo that actually lifts my roots. This is the only shampoo that does exactly that. The product smells wonderful and it makes your hair feel very lightweight. In my experience, the first time I used it, my mum made a remark about how big and bouncy my hair looked that day. Aside from the new shampoo, I used my other regular hair products and had a fantastic result. I would recommend this to anyone with flat hair. -
