I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. When I first saw the CND base coat, I thought it was a nail polish because of its pinky nude shade. I usually buy clear base coats, so it was a nice surprise. It does go on very sheer and acts as a great foundation for even the boldest of nail polish colors. My nails did not turn yellow and I do believe this helped the nail polish last as long as it did, which was 4 days before I noticed minor chipping. The dry time is also fast. I only applied one coat of base coat and found this was enough, therefore, a little goes a long way. I'm glad I got to try this and will consider purchasing another once I run out. -

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. The color I got to try was, Crimson Like It Hot. The color is a rich red with matching red glitter, which gives the end result a very festive and stunning look. The polish went on smoothly and easily and the first coat was quite pigmented enough, although I did apply a second one, as well. In terms of wear, it lasted a total of 4 days before I noticed chipping, which is pretty average for most of the nail polishes I own. I was expecting it to last a little longer, but it wasn't a let down either. Considering all the work I do with my hands, I was pretty impressed. Overall, I'm happy with the product and look forward to wearing it more often. I'll definitely look out for more colors! -

Cleaning the bathroom is my least favorite chore but ever since I've used VIM Bathroom Spray, it's made the task much easier. I've used it on and off for some time now and this is the product I always seem to go back to. I like to spray it on the surface I'm cleaning and let it sit for a few minutes. I use this on countertops, chrome faucets and porcelain and it hasn't damaged or discolored either one. The scent is pleasant and leaves your bathroom smelling clean and fresh. It also sprays easily and disperses the right amount of product. As for the cleaning power, it does its job really well. The chrome and porcelain look sparkly clean afterwards. I also rely on this product for when I know guests are coming over and need to clean the bathroom quickly. Just a few sprays and an easy rinse and I'm done. I've been repurchasing this quite a few times and it never disappoints. Two thumbs up! -

I will start off by saying that I did like the overall flavour of this soup, although it could cut down on salt. It did taste like chicken broth, which was delicious and comforting. However, my issues with the product is mainly due to false advertisement. Yes, it is a hearty looking soup and the pieces of pasta and carrots they've included in it are of a good size. However, when I tasted them, they were too soft. I expected it to have an al dente chew to it, but it felt like it was just melting in my mouth. I also thought the pieces of chicken would have been bigger but they were much smaller than the carrots. Since this is supposed to be a chicken soup, I would have expected that ingredient to stand out first, but it was lacking. Also, there is too much broth in comparison to the rest of the ingredients. There, I don't think the product really stands up to the word "hearty". Therefore, I don't think I'll be purchasing this again. -

I purchased this at my local hairdressing salon. My main need was to treat dry ends and since I had previously heard good things about the Biolage Matrix brand, I thought this was going to give me great results. I'm not really disappointed with the way this made my hair feel and look. It did make my hair feel softer and the ends weren't as dry as before. It also made my hair more manageable, especially when combing through it when wet. However, this mask has a clay-like consistency which takes some time and effort to really get through your hair and scalp. It needs a lot of moisture to be able to spread evenly. Apart from that, it contains little plastic-like beads in it, which was probably meant as an exfoliating feature, but I found it to be so pointless and unnecessary, not to mention the fact that it's not environmentally safe and you'll find blue bits in your hair if you don't rinse well enough. It also contains parabens, dyes and other harmful chemicals. I wish I had thought of reading through the ingredient list before I had purchased and used this. It was also quite expensive. I paid $12 for 100 ml, which of course I expected to pay more for it since it came from a beauty salon, but I thought I would be getting an exclusive product, therefore I splurged. Never again. I'm sure Biolage probably has better products out there, but this one left me disappointed. -

These Kirkland Fabric Softener sheets are meant to go into your dryer. The refreshing scent really lives up to its claim. My clothes always come out smelling like spring: clean and fresh. They also helps reduce static too. You get 250 sheets in one box, which will last you a good many washes, but what I do is cut each sheet in half, which doubles the amount. I still get the fresh scent that I want, but get more value out of my purchase. I've been able to use each sheet for two drying cycles until the scent is no longer noticeable. You also save money, since the Kirkland brand is less expensive than the well-known commercial fabric softener sheets out there. Definitely a smart and worthwhile purchase for your laundry care needs. -

I love wedge fries/potatoes and spicy food is something I also really enjoy, so the two of them put together seemed like the perfect combination to me. These McCain wedges were tasty and substantial as a side dish. They really fill you up after you've had a few but still very addictive. I am a little disappointed though. The spiciness level was extremely mild. When I tasted the first one, I could hardly tell it was spicy. I had to eat a few to get a very mild hint of spiciness. I also suggest you spray your pan with some cooking oil before baking them. They seemed to want to stick to the pan while cooking - not so much as to ruin the meal, but some did break apart. In terms of crispiness, it all depends on how high of a temperature you cook these. The first time around, I put them at high heat as directed and they were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The second time around I cooked them at a lower temperature and they didn't crisp up much, although they were still tender. Therefore, they certainly are tasty, but not the flavour I expected. If you want them to be spicy, you'll definitely need some sriracha with these! -

I received this product for free, thanks to ChickAdvisor and Nivea's free product coupon. This moisturizer is fantastic, especially if your skin gets really dry. It absorbed so well and made my skin feel hydrated and soft instantly. Not greasy at all and it glides very easily too. It contains both cocoa butter and vitamin E, which are really good at keeping skin healthy and supple. The cocoa butter scent is light, yet still present and it makes me think of summer when I use it. The tub is of a generous size, although I do wish this came with a pump, instead of having to dip my fingers in it. That's the only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars. It's also quite expensive for a drugstore moisturizer (about $14). Is it worth the splurge? Maybe, but I would wait for a sale to get it. -

I purchased this lipstick online because a) it was very inexpensive and b) I thought the retro, glamour girl design on the packaging was cute. The lipstick shade I chose only had a number description on the website, so I basically winged it and chose based on the design I liked the most. When I received the lipstick, the description on the tube said it was the "Iced Mocha" shade. It turned out to be brown and it looked just as brown on my lips, which for me, is a bad look. It might look better on people with dark skin tones, but I could not pull this shade off. I found the consistency of the lipstick to lack moisture. My lips felt dry, even shortly afterwards. I also found the scent to be slightly off-putting. As for the packaging, it's made of cardboard, therefore, not the sturdiest, but at least it's recyclable. Even though this was really inexpensive, I would not repurchase it again, no matter how cute the packaging looks. This is a prime example of, "You get what you pay for." -

Just as the name suggests, "Weekend" is one of Burberry's more laid back scents. It's light and fresh but don't let that fool you. This is one of the more unique scents I own. It starts off with grassy/green notes then develops into citrus with a mix of floral and finally dries to a powdery musk, therefore a wonderful transition. I think this is the perfect everyday scent, especially if you want to smell nice but aren't looking for something too overpowering. I like wearing it mostly in the warmer months because of it's lighter nature, but it also works quite well in colder weather, as it has cool tones to it. The longevity on my skin was quite impressive. After about 2 hours, I could still smell it pretty well, which is rare for me. Great scent to have in your collection, especially if you're a fan of Burberry. -
