Chickadvisor gave me a voucher for a discount to try out this new grocery delivery service and it was a great incentive.
Ordering online was quite easy and there were lots of available delivery dates and times. I could order from Sobeys, Farm Boy, and well.ca in the same order. I was able to edit my order until the night before which was super helpful. The delivery fee was $7.99 which is less than other grocery or chain stores.
The downside was that quite a few fresh produce products I wanted were unavailable. The flip side is that the website was updated to show these products were not available so I could plan accordingly and didn't need to deal with receiving and returning unwanted substitutions. Sobeys had some good sales but their groceries are a different price point than other stores.
The driver was professional and friendly when he called me to let me know his ETA and about contactless delivery. He rung the bell after offloading all groceries and appeared professionally dressed also wearing his mask and gloves appropriately.
The company has their own truck too. It appeared to be a reefer truck but I'm just guessing.
All items ordered arrived safely and the order was fulfilled correctly. The produce was all fresh and the perishables all had decent expiration dates. The frozen items were still frozen.
One bonus was that they had duck eggs which my local Sobeys doesn't carry so I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to venture out to another grocery store to find them.

I really liked the Juniper Pure Micellar soap. Blue is one of my favourite colours but that's not all I like about it. It has a pleasant floral, clean scent. The downside is that the scent does last for awhile though so I do find that a bit irritating. I prefer my hands to be scent free.
The soap foams really nicely so it's easy to get a lather and keep the lather while scrubbing for 20 seconds.
In this time of constant handwashing I appreciate that this product has glycerin in it so it moisturizes and doesn't make my hands crack. It also doesn't irritate my skin!
I #gotitfree so I don't know the retail price but if it's similarly priced to other Dial products I would buy it.

I typically avoid butter but had to taste it again to really compare. The taste is so similar to regular unsalted butter and that was a pleasant surprise. The texture was nice too - similar to butter but a bit softer.
I even tried adding to a curry dish that called for butter at the end and no one could tell the difference!
If you're looking for plant based option this is worth a try!

I am writing this on behalf of my husband. He has been using this gel since we #gotitfree. It holds his hair all day long and doesn't make it hard and crusty. It has a mild clean scent to it - nothing overpowering or bothersome. I have medium length hair and use his gel sometimes too when I want to air dry my hair. It helped keep my waves shaped without getting frizzy or hard.
It contains castor oil which helps with the moisture and shine without giving it a greasy look or feel.
I #gotitfree so I don't know the retail price.

Loving this cream
I received this cream free but am so glad I did. It has a nice smooth texture and a very mild clean kind of scent (not bothersome). I have used it on my fine lines (under eyes) and deeper lines (smile lines, neck). I have seen improvements and plumpness in the areas with fine lines (yay!). To be fair those deeper lines have plagued me for years - so even the small improvements are a win. I even got my hubby using it.
It hasn't irritated my skin at all either.
The only downside to me is that it's in a jar vs a pump dispenser which means I have to keep dipping in with my hands. I definitely wash my hands before doing so, but Neutragena should consider a pump format to minimize germs.

I used this growing up and returned to it as an adult. It's so moisturizing and perfect for my dry lips. I always apply it at bedtime and again in the morning after showering and before starting my makeup routine. I've even used it on my eyelids and parts of my face if I have had extra dry skin in the winter. It is greasy though, so you may want to save it for bedtime if applying anywhere other than your lips. Other pros - it doesn't have a scent and it's very low cost. -

I was lucky enough to try this out for free. It is a great product - felt smooth on my skin and made my makeup last. The downside was thar although the scent was really nice, it was too strong. So anyone who can't tolerate scents should stay away.
