Roku Streaming Player

My tv isn't that old, and as such didn't need replacing, but it's dumb. As in, not smart, with no capabilities for apps and the like. A little research lead me to the Roku and I was instantly intrigued that it was so inexpensive, was easy to use, and offered the main apps I wanted (Netflix, Youtube & Spotify) pre-loaded and ready to go. I love the fact that this was very easy to set up and that it allows you access to so many streaming services, but I am a bit disappointed that the Spotify app has been discontinued. I was advertised as being available when I purchased the stick (and even has its own button for instant access) but is no longer available. It's not a huge deal, but as a premium Spotify member, I did look forward to streaming via my tv. -

I am a year round sunscreen user (as we all should be) and as such, have tired quite a few different formulas. I've liked many, loved few, with this falling into the latter category. It's SO GREAT! It truly is, especially if you need an SPF for under makeup. This has an almost mousse-y feel that smooths skin for a primer-like effect but isn't heavy. It wears great under foundation (no pilling or sliding) and doesn't break me out. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it.

I have a LOT of eyeshadow palettes. I love them, and I'd like to think they love me (maybe?) That said, there are always the palettes that end up becoming the true favourites. The ones you just keep gravitating to over and over again. For me, the Rodial Smokey Eye Sculpt Eyeshadow Palette is just that. I know, it's not all that interesting, with its neutral hues and lone shimmer, but that is exactly why I love it. The neutral mattes are the perfect starters for eye looks as so many of the 'fun' plaettes lack. You can create a full look with this too, and as the name suggests, creates a gorgeous traditional smokey look with ease. The formulas a perfection, with super smooth mattes and a buttery shimmer for added pop.

Shower foams have been popping up from a number of brands lately, and I for one, love them, but the first one I came across remains my fave. The thing that makes the Avon spin on shower foam a bit more unique, is that their formula features a blend of oils to not only cleanse, but leave skin nicely hydrated. There is no film left on skin though, and no heavy feeling which I really love. Of the four scents available, I'm a fan of the Supreme Nourishment variety that has a soft macadamia and vanilla scent. Overall, these are definitely worth trying!

I love Vichy as a brand, have have tried many of their products, but this one is new to my routine. Okay, so I generally avoid the sun, and as such focus more on my face SPF needs, but I do like to have a high SPF (I'm very white and burn easily) on just in case. This is a really great option as it feels super light weight, while also feeling lightly hydrating. It is easy to apply without an obnoxious white cast or heavy scent,

I love Vichy as a brand, have have tried many of their products, but this little gem is new to me. If you couldn't tell, I love it! I am a fan of light, fluid sunscreen formulas for the face, and this one is pretty much perfection. It has a light texture that is easily absorbed by skin, feels like nothing, leaves no white cast (even on pale skin) and isn't heavily fragranced. I need an SPF that wears easily under makeup, and this works so well as it doesn't cause foundation or other product to pill up or hinder wear. Overall, a really great SPF option for all year.

I love how easy this mix is to use (ice, blender and liqueur if going boozy) and that it really does make a great drink. I fou d it was hard to find in srores thoough, and many in my area only carried two or three of the varities the brand makes. That said, I will definitely be repurchasing and using throughout the summer.

So, I had to lable my review as forget about it, but I really feel more 'meh, it's okay' (which should totally be an option.) Why? Because I both kind of like this primer and kind of don't. It has a great moisturizing texture (no silicone feel) that does a nice job of prepping skin for makeup. The thing is, moisturizer does the job just as well and doesn't feature the lemongrass scent. I hate lemongrass and find the scent to be too strong and lingers longer than it needs to.

I wasn't sure if I neede the level 3 version of this, as I really just use hair spray to help set my volume/waves for the day, but I've really like this! The spray is quite fine and light, doesn't weigh down hair, and feels natural (aka no crunch if you get a litttle heavy handed.)

When it comes to conditioner, my main concern is a formula that can leave my drier hair feeling soft and hydrated, but not weighed down, and preferably something silicone free (which can build up, leave hair weighed down, and ultimately a bit dull looking.) So, I was really interested in seeing if this could tick all of my boxes. It does! Plus, it smells great, and comes in a giant bottle at a steal of a price. LOVE!
