Am I the only one who takes this long to get ready?

I'm talking about getting ready proper, whether it be for a night out, date, special event, etc., not how long it takes you to get ready for work, grocery shopping, etc.

Here's a breakdown of my routine and I want yours, :)

brush/floss/rinse/whiten teeth - 15 minutes
shower/shave/wash body and hair - 30 minutes (I like to be really clean, get a close shave, etc.)
tone/moisturize/shower clean up: 15 minutes
blow dry hair - 30 minutes

So, it takes me 60 minutes just to get ready to get ready! This is the basic routine for work, the mall, etc.

straighten or style hair with extensions - 60 minutes or more depending on whether or not I'm curling it. (I wear a lot of extensions so my hair is very thick and very long.)
product/hair clean up - 15 minutes (I vacuum after I do my hair, clean my flatiron, put my products away, etc.)

I'm at 2 hour and 15 minutes just to get clean and do my hair...

And then...
pluck/tidy brows - 15 minutes
apply false lashes - 15 minutes
eye makeup/eye brow shading: 30 minutes
face makeup (contouring, highlighting, etc.) - 30 minutes
product/bathroom cleanup - 15 minutes

(I'm a Chapstick girl so I skip any lip routine which might be a good thing time considering, lol.)

Almost done at 4 hours and 15 minutes!

choose and outfit (I pre choose)/get dressed/tidy up room - 15 minutes

Grande total: 4 hours and 30 minutes

What about you!

I'm lazy?

Brush teeth/floss = 5 minutes

- Shower/shave - 15 minutes

- moisturize, dry off - 5 minutes

- blow dry hair and brush/style - 10 minutes

- Makeup - 5 minutes

- Outfit - 5-10 minutes

So maximum 50 minutes - I could cut it down to half an hour.

You're efficient, ;)

How much makeup do you wear? Contouring can take a bit of time. same with flase lashes. That's wherre my time gets eaten, lol

am i the only one.

Interesting khalle. There is definitely nothing wrong with taking as much time as you wish/need to look your best. You are to be commended for taking so much pride in yourself; this ultimately makes you feel better and you will show more confidence to those around because you are happy with the way you look and feel. The amount of time, or lack of it does not matter if one achieves the look they want.
